3. Funny, everyone was in his court until it affected Obama's
prospects. I still think 85% of what he said needed to be said. I like him too.

2. I don't. It's one of the lamest issues I've ever seen in a political campaign -
it's too bad Obama had to sever ties with him though. But he had no choice after Wright's grandstanding yesterday.

But I think Obama had no choice.

I actually agreed with alot of what Wright said and I don't have anything against him personally.

Whatever nonsense they want to perpetuate.

They got Deanout of the running by the electronic machinery and the "Dean Scream"

If Obama is guilty of What Wright Says because of attending that church, then every Catholic in office is guilty of encouraging pedophilia!! Agfter all, which Catholics (other than Sinead O'COnoor) ever spoke out about the child abuse running rampant in the vestry over the past decades.

NOT! As I'm pumping gas and watching the numbers wizz by $34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39...$40, 41...etc. Do I really care what some dumb egotistical pastor in Chicago rants about? Does this affect my life? NOT!

27. I never had a problem with wright's rhetoric, what I have, and continue to have a problem with
is obama asking people to believe that, in his 20-plus years of being a member of the congregation of rev. wright, he never heard the sort of inflammatory rhetoric--that wright had said some things with which he disagreed, but nothing along the line of what appeared on those tapes. sorry, that is not even remotely credible. pastors in the area spoke openly about the fact that wright's views were well-known.

sorry, this is just one more thing obama has said that makes me say, "hmmmm"

like so many of the HRC boosters - a good many of them here will not only be voting for McCain in November but were always going to be voting for McCain no matter what, if you catch my drift.

38. I do, but not for the standard reasons
I believe that the "soul" of the party and the country is more important than its present actions. Black churches have been supporting the Democratic Party for decades with the hope and the promise of change. Instead the African American community has been continually marginalized. We need to continually working on Civil Rights progress, life liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all.

Rev. Wright's opinions need to listened to and dealt with. He is not a lonely voice in the wilderness. Many members of the Democratic Party have the same views and questions.
