3. If it has something to do with Hillary becoming president
your "reality" is akin to the third panel of Hieronymus Bosch's "The Garden of Earthly Delights"

11. LOL
That reference was so obscure that probably only a handful of us understood the reference. That reference for me was the History of Art textbook from my freshman year Art History course in 1970, which coincidentally, I had very handy.

29. Do I know what you mean...
I sold life insurance for 4 years with Prudential and John Hancock. When I graduated in 74, my liberal arts degree was next to worthless. A dime a dozen I was told. It took the advent of computers for me to finally find my vocation, which is writing resumes and providing secretarial services with my own business.

23. If you like Mysteries and Thrillers, Michael Connely has a great series starring
Hieronymus Bosch. He goes by "Harry" but he always seems to work in references to the originals work.

She's aiming at a pedestal, and he was never on it.

18. Actually, you don't have to pay for polls...
... when you continually cycle through each and every conceivable position, such as:

Democrats are good, Democrats are just as bad as Republicans, Republicans are the party of ideas, Democrats are good, Democrats are losers, Ronald Reagan was transformative, Democrats are in favor of bloated bureacracy, Democrats are Chablis-drinking limousine liberals, Democrats are good...

I support Wright like I support my white grandmother, my white grandmother is a racist, Wright is a racist, I support Wright...

19. obama is a tainted person, and if he is the nominee of this party
and not answered these questions: Why did he stay a member of the congregation? Why didn't he speak up earlier? And why did he reward Rev. Wright with a campaign position even after knowing of his comments? obama said for the first time a few weeks ago that had Rev. Wright not recently resigned as pastor of the church, he would have withdrawn. But that only reraised the same questions: Why didn't he act before the resignation? Hey, and furthermore, after knowing about some of these sermons and having serious problems with some of their messages, why did Mr. Obama still decide to appoint Rev. Wright to his official presidential campaign religious advisory committee?(obama had to let him go)

If Mr. Obama doesn't show a willingness to try to answer all the questions now, John McCain and the Republican attack machine will not waste a minute pressuring him to do so IF and it is a big IF obama is the nominee.....

24. I thought the crushing disappointment of Clinton supporters was going to be bad before.
Edited on Tue Apr-29-08 11:46 PM by Political Heretic
But now, for reasons that pass any understanding, they have been recharged with desperate hope that somehow this thing is in play when it isn't.

The shock of the impending defeat is going to be so colossal I think I will actually have plenty of empathy to be compassionate and consoling during their grief.
