Clinton Campaign talking about this all being over by mid June??? WTF is up with that?
Edited on Tue Apr-29-08 09:47 PM by Johnny__Motown
On MSNBC's "Race For The White House" today they quoted Terry McAuliffe as saying it may all be over by June 15th.

Then Joe (asshat) Scarborough said he heard something from inside the Clinton Campaign that was similar. That something was going to happen in June, that this was not going to go to Denver.

My WILD guess is that she will try to blackmail her way onto the ticket as V.P. in return for her concession and endorsement.

Any other thoughts?

1. Thank. God.
They are finally realizing that win, lose or draw -- this thing needs to END in June.

2. They don't hold to anything they say.
So it means nothing.

But, it will be over by June 3rd. Whether Hillary let's go and accepts defeat, then, is to be seen.

3. I heard that too...
...but I was giving my daughter a bath so I wasn't sure who said what to who. I couldn't find a thread here on it so I'm glad you posted. My speculation is it has to do with money and Jim Clyburn.

42. You misunderstood. The Rezko trial is heating up and the Wright
fiasco is about to be eclipsed by it. Obama is up to his eyeballs in the dirty politics of Chicago. Hillary does not have to do anything. His partners in crime will do it all. He doesn't have a monitor in that court for nothing.

15. I don't believe he will.
1. He's much too smart. He knows her high negatives translate into a huge rethug turnout, which might be the only way The Dems can lose in 2008.

2. He's too principled. If he is able to reject his long time pastor as he did today, he can certainly reject Hillary, who has proved herself unworthy of any respect or deference.

10. Howard Dean stated that it would be over in June as well, I believe
that the party realizes what HRC is doing is harming the party and dividing it to the point that it will not be able to win the White House. Everyone knows that Obama is the nominee by the math and the truth is known to the party leaders.

and the party will rally around Hillary for victory in the fall.

She will never, never win the GE... There will be so many outraged people that won't be voting for her.... (JMOOC) but I see this happening in huge numbers.

It's a testament to his rejection by the voters. Don't even think about all the money he has been throwing around. Can't buy a vote.

35. Dean said it
Heard him on the radio the other day--said that they were going to settle the nomination by June so the party "would have time to heal" before the convention. So sayeth the DNC. Now, what it MEANS I can't tell you, but Dean also made reference to the delegate math and said that it would be nuts for the superdelegates to overturn the popular vote. Take it for what it's worth...

he can't make delegates or superdelegates commit to vote for someone or declare who they are voting for. It's just hot air.
