Obama dropping like a stone in all NC polls
Edited on Tue Apr-29-08 10:20 PM by candelovsky
I give you the polls released today, comparing the margin with the next-most-recent poll.

Survey USA
Obama +5 (+9)

Rasmussen
Obama +14 (+21)

PPP
Obama +12 (+25)

This is not good at all for Obama.

58. Can't tell if this was joke or not.
But just in case you were serious...

Voters in NC haven't bought (voted) anything yet so they can't feel remorseful.

That's just an FYI in case you want to stop sounding foolish.

5. Rasmussen/PPP
Their polls were obviously outliers. The president of PPP all but admitted so the other day when discussing the discrepancy in their polls over the last two weeks. Still, Clinton has indeed gained some ground; it's just a case of how much.

have been breaking toward Clinton, so no real surprise here that more of the 'undecideds' are breaking to Hillary. Seriously though, who actually believes that they were completely undecided. They were just trying to convince others that they were completely open-minded.

Also, I like how in the SUSA poll of people who already voted, Obama is really far ahead.

Most polls have black turnout at 33%. If their forecast is accurate, then I'm sure their predictions of the pop. vote total will be roughly right. If it hits closer to 40% as some think it will, he'll exceed expectations. FWIW, black voter registration in the state has skyrocketed.

35. Thanks -- yeah, I'd checked it out,
but I'm leaning toward going on THE day. I live right next door (walk in 2 minutes) and I'd like to see how the turnout is.

Plus, say "no thank you!" to the people handing out helpful "how to vote a conservative ticket" crap.

Last election I was so pissed that I was approached with this stuff, when I came home I called the election board to rat on them, but found out it was legal.

Do you think early voting is preferable? If so, how come? How does it help my candidate? Thanks - still time to change my mind. :hi:

Clinton can win all the primaries and it won't win her the nomination.

It MIGHT be the sign of a crippled nominee. That may please Clinton, but it horrifies me. And having done that will cost Clinton the nomination in 2012 as well.

Considering all the coverage and the smears by the NC GOP, not too bad. Also given that he has a 30%+ margin in the early voting, Clinton already has a lot of ground to make up.
