That this country spawns the likes of these people, as well as that Phelps guy, T. McVeigh, et al is prima facie evidence that the so-called "war" on "Islamic" terrorism is bogus.


Human beings are capable of the most horrific of crimes against each other. That is NOT limited to any racial subgroup, any country, any religion. It is a vile aspect of human nature. Humans are animals - related to great white sharks and T. rex. "Civilization" with its moral coda is a thin, contrived veneer.

Humans, sadly, developed just enough "higher intelligence" to adapt the gut-instinct brutality they are born with to "social" behaviors in addition to survival behaviors. So instead of just killing that which they wish to eat, they kill those with whom they disagree over made-up "issues" like what fictitous supernatural being they worship, or how they do so.

Many people have developed civilized behavior, altruism, empathy, all those characteristics we see as "good." Others - not so much.

But the "civilized" people tolerate the continued existence of these scum lest they be equated with them. And perhaps that is right, but it is extremely depressing. All the trumped-up halleluias over how there is a better day coming and the lion shall lie down with the lamb and crap are just nursery rhymes. The reality is that humans will eventually be Eloi and Morlocks.

And the Morlocks will rule.
