GOP Gives Clinton The Silent Treatment (She's NOT relevant anymore) - CBS
hmmm....they must know something that clinton supporters on here don't....or yet at least.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/04/30/politics/politico/main4057588.shtml

Hillary Clinton’s decisive Pennsylvania primary win last week may have reinvigorated her campaign, but you wouldn’t know it from listening to the Republican party.

The National Republican Congressional Committee has purchased $500,000 in anti-Barack Obama ads for use in two upcoming special House elections. The Republican National Committee is flooding reporters with anti-Obama emails. Presumptive nominee John McCain and GOP surrogates have seized on new remarks by Obama’s controversial former pastor.

From top to bottom, from McCain down to the youthful campaign and party staffers who work nearly around the clock to get him elected, the working assumption seems to be that the Democratic contest is over and Obama has won.

Even when Clinton attacks McCain, President Bush or GOP policies, the response is either outright silence or snarky, dismissive ridicule about a failed campaign barely relevant enough to merit a response.

1. I can personal testify to this
I received a polling call from an organization hired by the Colorado GOP to ask voters a series of questions. One of the questions was: "Who are you more likely to vote for in the fall presidential election, Barack Obama or John McCain"? Even though I am an Obama supporter, I said: "Well, technically the Democratic race isn't over yet..."

3. I think CBS is missing the point
The reason the GOP isnt attacking Clinton is because they WANT her to win.

Which is just the opposite of thinking she's irrelevant (but feeds into the MSM meme that she's being beaten up by everyone).

4. She used them and they used her... and she learned how to be like them...
The PA primary was a test in machine politics and that's all. Rendell felt good that he could deliver the kind of numbers he did for her to bolster his street cred that his machine can deliver. Beyond that... SDs probably knew that the vote was RIGGED. There are four or five states in which the vote was rigged for Clinton. PA was a non-starter like OH.

9. rethugs are evil, but they are not stupid.
Seems like the only people who don't know Hillary is finished are Hillary and those drinking her kool aid. Betcha Bill has already figured it out.
