Edited on Wed Apr-30-08 03:20 PM by symbolman
Let's get REAL here Clinton Supporters.. Many keep screaming that Obama should have not stayed in Wright's church (which has helped poor folks etc) as did Clinton (its the Talking Point "I would not have stayed.." like anyone hears everything in church..) and he had 20 years to figure out Wright was crackers..

Well, here's a concept for you, WHO KNEW that Clinton was going to publicly announce that she'd obliterate Iran (since she can't EVER be bothered to Read an NIE, as in Iraq as well) WHO KNEW that she'd run as a wolf in Sheeps Clothing?

It appears that Clinton and Co are running as damaged Goods, its like Divorce Court, and Obama is the shiftless, happy to be free ex-husband who must be Villified now that she's too old to score another man..

Like a Divorce, WHO KNEW that you Significant Other was such a bitch/bastard? Relationships have an ebb and flow, and many stages.. In many ways this is

NONE OF OUR BUSINESS! Between a man and his Pastor..

But Clinton supporters can't have it both ways, Obama "should have known" then they Spring this Clinton character on everyone, who many MIGHT have voted for in the first place, but won't now.

Wrights been kicked to the curb, Clinton has a deathgrip on the fire hydrant, refuses to budge, and Bill Clinton is trying to play Traffic cop, but having no luck as the ladies distract him..

At least Obama had the Guts to End his Relationship, Hillary found it too Politically expedient to pass up, and would Not kick Bill to the curb, which left many with no respect for her..

But Who Knew she'd back Bush and War, and after so many of us stuck up for her all these years.. I feel as used by her as I imagine Obama feels about Wright, right now...

8. Yeah, gee.. Its the same woman we've always known
the one with the Experience who was going to FIX Healthcare (which I respected her for, then) and was turned into a fine Paste by the Right Wing and Insurance corps..

Sure, WE should have known she'd be abusive, but many didn't ...

The Parallel IS unmistakeable..

Does anyone think that Bill (with his addiction problem and her with her dysfunctional codependency issues) hasn't been dipping his wick since 1998?

29. Why does she continue to say you can't change your family?
Doesn't she realize that we are well aware of the word "divorce?"

Most modern day women would not stay in a marriage if they knew that their husband, and the father of their lovely little girl, sinned in --- their---- HOUSE.

How many men would have the nerve to do that in - their - own- house!

That is the lowest lack of respect for the wife and the young daughter.

Throw the bum out, that's what the women that I know would do.

And I sure would kick him to the WH lawn on Christmas Day!

I believe in holding the family together but that is a real stretch.

Many women have thrown the bums out and were strong enough to build new marriages and new family structures with men that truly loved them.

What did she do? She lied to protect him.

No problem with that, many women do it every day but don't go down that road anymore HC because YOU can CHANGE your family.

Hillary has been married to (living in the same house with) Bill for longer, but claimed to know nothing about his pardons.

33. But you know what?
Who CARES? Most people know that pastors are screwy just like their shrinks are nuts, most people really DON'T listen in church, having been an Altar Boy for many years I've watched them, they are asleep, ramrod straight, comparing clothing, can't wait to get out and play some basketball..

Maybe the guy said weird shit and it went right over heads while people thought about all the GOOD they were doing instead?

People are sick of phoney people creating outrage and trying to force everyone to "throw the baby out with the bathwater.."

What's petty bullshit is next, what minor Bittergate intentionally misinterpreted garbage will send the Clinton Ex-Wives club baying at the moon like a pink poodle pack of ravening sled dogs?

To can bet the MSM will trumpet it, to everyone's chagrin..

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=5753324&mesg_id=5753745

I imagine, if I had been a Pastor for 30 years,
and I got smeared like Rev. Wright did, that I might give in to my OUTRAGE, too.

Walk a mile in his shoes and get to RETIREMENT, get shoved into a media shit storm like that.

I saw a clip of him with Hannidy. After Hannidy insulted him for the entire clip, at the end Rev Wright, said God Bless you to him three times. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNTGRL0OJWQ

There is still plenty of time for Obama and Wright to make amends. "Forgiveness" is something the whole world will be needing to learn.

My anger with the MSN is difficult to bear. I will be needing to let go of it.

P.S. I am not involved with any Organized Religion. I think the term is an oxymoron. I have enjoyed Rev. Wrights sermons. I believe he is a great scholar.

I HOPE Obama has been influenced by him.

Obama 44th POTUS

41. There's actually a case to be made for Obama staying in the church
because the church is not the pastor. Even an atheist like me could understand how a person might enjoy the fellowship of the congregation, the mission and how it's carried out, etc. Plus, from what I can tell, it's not like the Reverend was preaching anything out of the ordinary nutty Christian stuff on a regular basis.

Besides, people do evolve. Some for the better. Some for the worse.

by people they THOUGHT they Knew... Most killings are a Family member, someone who's been around a long time..

Tell you something else, I've worked in mental institutions and many of those folks appeared fine until something took them over the edge..

A wise woman Kubler-Ross, who created the Stages of Grieving, who was raised in a Nazi concentration camp and helped people to die for years, once said that she can be sitting at a nice mellow party and know because she's seen it that at any point in all those people's lifes anyone of the could be a Monster..

Its Reality..
