IMPORTANT MESSAGE: The Center for American Progress is being slandered right here on DU
Edited on Wed Apr-30-08 06:27 PM by brentspeak
There are at least two current bizarro threads, both initiated by the same poster, which are making the completely out-of-the-blue, bogus claim that the Center for American Progress is "doing voter suppression."

It's sort of like Rush Limbaugh saying, "Is it true that Ted Kennedy sold top-secret intelligence to China? I'm not saying that's the case, I'm just throwing out the question, he he he..."

3. I would not doubt it. Because Podosta works there and he worked for Clinton?
And Obama needed a distraction from Wright so they bring up the group that does general election voter registration which has sometimes overlapped with primary voting in states that probably were not going to matter when they first laid out their schedule a year ago?

4. Then that means Barack Obama is also in on this 'voter suppression' thing?
Edited on Wed Apr-30-08 07:16 PM by brentspeak
Because one of his former advisors, Cassandra Butts, http://www.americanprogress.org/aboutus/staff/ButtsCassandra.html">is also working at the Center for American Progress.

And I suppose Ted Kennedy, an Obama supporter, must also be working to suppress votes, being that his http://www.americanprogress.org/aboutus/staff/BarnesMelody.html">former chief counsel, Melody Barnes works at the Center, too.

:eyes: :eyes: :eyes:

(Apologies in advance if you were being sarcastic in the first place).
