78. She has a plan alright. A plan to continue republican economic policies
In the 'American Dream Accounts' which Hillary heads for the DLC, she is pushing for the same privatization of social security that bush* was pushing a year and a half ago, before even the republican voters wanted no part of. What is interesting is that the dlc site even used the same phrase as the republicans, 'personal savings account' until another DUer and myself began posting about it, now that language has been scrubbed. But do read what the dlc has left standing regarding social security--"American Dream Accounts"--and tell me that you don't see the same republican plan.

http://www.dlc.org/ndol_ci.cfm?contentid=253993&kaid=86&subid=194
http://www.ppionline.org/ndol/ndol_ci.cfm?kaid=85&subid=108&contentid=253475

It sounds as though Hillary also has a foreign policy plan that mimics the neocon foreign policy. Obliterate Iran? The same Iran whose outpouring of love and support for the US following 9/11 was met with hostility by the neocons?

Yeah, Hillary has a plan alright.

86. For starters, I don't think she's going to obliterate anyone or
anything.

You guys already kicked the people who had good health care plans out of the race so I'm going to take that to mean that you don't actually put much importance on health care for the nation. Same thing with those who were in favor of getting out of the middle east immediately if not sooner. That said, of who's left, Hillary has the better health care plan and I don't find Obama's policy of warm fuzzies and reaching out to the republicans comforting.

Iran whose outpouring of love and support following 9/11? Hello reality? They figured that we were stunned and surprised and that they could use 9/11 to get something they wanted.

91. Do we need another "leader" who uses the power of the US
to bully other nations? How is saber rattling helpful to our national security and/or the process of bringing peaceful resolution to ME conflicts? Even bush*s Saudi buddies were concerned at Clinton's 'obliteration' comment because just the words themselves have negative consequences.

Republican economic policies dictate our foreign policies, and it sounds as though Hillary at best only wants cosmetic changes to our foreign policies from what the republicans are doing.

So what do you think of Hillary's plan on social security? Were you aware that she has been quietly pimping the same plan that bush* had been attempting to force on US? Hillary's official policy is worlds apart from what she tells people when she is on the campaign trail.

93. DO you know any Iranians? They were devastated after 9/11. ...
...What a hateful and ignorant thing to say.

If Hillary didn't mean it, then she screwed up twice: once for making such a stupid threat, and a second time for making a threat she didn't intend to carry out.

Bush Jr repeatedly pulled the same thing, and it ruined our standing internationally.

And this is the one who's ready on Day #1? To do WHAT? Continue the destruction of America that Bush Jr started?

That's say more about her and the company she keeps and it does about Obama and his pastor.

Oh, and by the way, this is Bill's audience. Hope they enjoyed their leader's softball interview with the newfound Goddess of Peace.

And on HANNITY before that.

Reaching a wider audience of VOTERS.

Anyone who is stupid enough to demand that everyone who votes for you must agree with you ideologically on every frigging issue is not going to get many votes. FAUXSNOOSE has a big market share that includes conservative Democrats and a massive swathe of independents, as well as disenchanted Republicans.

Why not tap that market? Only an idiot would ignore it. And neither Clinton NOR Obama are idiots.

Let me tell you, in the course of my life, I find myself in oddlot parts of the country every so often. In many of these places, there is ONLY Faux and CNN. MSNBC does not have full penetration into many markets.

And in some places around the globe, there is ONLY Faux--like some military installations.

You can't get your message out if you don't go to the voters. And the voters are watching that station.

24. Why are we supposed to put our principles, our very identities, aside for "our" "leaders"?
I know everyone says the two candidates are virtually the same, but they ARE different in one important respect.

Hillary Clinton SOLD us into WAR - BECAUSE - she intended to run for pResident . . .

and apparently couldn't think of any more creative ways to show that she is "strong on defense" than to support an at LEAST 50:50 chance that INNOCENT people, thousands and thousands of them, would suffer and DIE, and the threat of revenge terrorism would increase exponentially because of what we were getting ready to do, and all Americans would work harder and longer for less and less because of war debt. Yeah, she didn't vote FOR War, but her vote did show that she accepted the chance of these things happening, and saw it as an acceptable risk to take in order to run for pResident.

ARE WE SUPPOSED TO IGNORE THIS FACT???

Really, I'm SORRY the party ran the wrong candidate; we're trying to do something about that.

You gonna start calling Bush a respectable human being when he comes out and declaring Hillary the nominee while putting Obama down? Knowing some of you Hillary supporters you will as long as he throws in a nice dig at Obama. At this point when your showing an ounce of respect for Bill the woman harasser I would not be surprised. You have to step back and ask yourself why in the hell all these right wingers are in love with Hillary when in the 90's they hunted her husband down like a dog and laughed all the way to the Bush presidency. I mean common sense has just gone out the window with some of you.

45. That *should* be telling you something.
As for this: "Let's hear from the DEMOCRATIC candidate bashers!"

I doubt Hillary will respond to your request to hear from her as I don't think she has an account, but you can always hold out hope that she'll drop by and tell us about how Obama is somehow linked to Hamas through his freaking church, like she tried to do on a fucking nationally televised debate. But yeah, lecture US some more about the evils of bashing fellow Democrats while supporting the candidate who justifies her campaign tactics by appealing to "What Would Karl Rove Do".

(Which is, by the way, a hint about why O'Reilly might be more inclined to be friendly to Clinton than we are. Think hard, it'll come to you eventually...)

48. She isn't a Democrat - she calls herself one but her behavior is purely Republican
Edited on Thu May-01-08 12:16 AM by Triana
FURTHERMORE, there has been more than one instance wherein Republicans have openly stated that they WANT Hillary to be the nominee because she's the weaker candidate and they know they can beat her. Repigs have been frothing at their rabid muzzles to go after Clinton in an election. The Rush Limpballs Repigs are going to vote for her in Indiana in droves - and that is why.

Read much?

52. See, that's exactly the problem.
Clinton and her minions act like she and the party are one and the same; disloyalty to her is disloyalty to the party. That pisses off a lot of people.

54. Hehehehehe.....Bill O'Reilly is such a great guy!
The same guy that said "I just wish Katrina had only hit the United Nations building, nothing else, just had flooded them out, and I wouldn't have rescued them." --on his radio show, Sept. 14, 2005

My favorite O'Reilly quote,

“The children of America have seen with their own eyes that liars can win and cheaters can prosper. They know that our nation will accept venal behavior and, in some cases, reward it with tremendous wealth and power. So why wouldn't they lie, cheat and steal?”

This describes Hillary Clinton and George W. Bush in every way.

62. It's an amazing day when Democrats supporting Hillary
not only embrace the endorsements of right-wing political pundits, but lovingly snuggle up to the Right while claiming to support working people. How more obvious could it be when Rush, O'Lielly, Ann Coulter all start crooning the Hillary tune?

67. Why wouldn't he? She's replaying Bush's 2000 campaign.
She's making insane promises of rebates and tax breaks. She's running a filthy campaign against her opponent. She's demonstrating that she is willing to say and do anything and screw anyone to get elected. She's threatened to nuke Iran.

Hell, yes, Bill loves her ... today.

Do you think that her love affair with the rightwing lunatics will continue if she gets the nomination? Do you think Scaife will continue to admire her, or will he continue with the journalistic slaughter?

Get a fucking clue.

Do you really, honestly think he's showing her "respect" for sincere, well-meaning reasons? If not, then how could you post this thread? If so, I really have to question your insight.

The utter hate and venom being spewed is not worthy of Senator Obama.

This is hard ball with the big boys and the whiners are on my last nerve. How can you fault a politician for wanting to be on the most widely viewed political program in the United States? How can you blame a candidate for going after bi-partisan support?

No one is "praising" Bill O... jeez! They can sure stretch out pretty far to grasp those stupid straws!
