Hillary Clinton expected to win North Carolina: Leads in New Poll!
Edited on Thu May-01-08 07:56 AM by FLDem5
http://www.southernpoliticalreport.com/storylink_430_370.aspx

Hillary Clinton: 44%
Barack Obama: 42%
Undecided: 14%

Obama supporters, please push this poll everywhere! Send it to the media - lets get everyone buzzing about this incredibly flawed poll so the expectations become - when Clinton loses by 8 points - Obama SLAUGHTERED HER!

Check out the crosstabs, they are laughable. HRC has 20% of the AA vote.

Please get this poll out there and lets manage some expectations!

1. that approach won't work. He really is expected to win NC
and it's too late to change that perception.

3. She damn well should win. We're talking about the fucking ClintonInc Machine!
I just hope Obama can keep it close. If he does, it may signal the end of Hillary.

9. yep only 25% sample of AA and has Obama leading only 64-20
by contrast a RAS poll of Indiana out today gives Obama a 90-4 point lead among black voters. I think that is closer to how it will look in NC too.

14. dear jesus!
I can't understand people. There are new polls out practically every HOUR these days, and then comes the headline: "Hillary expected to win in NC" ?!?!!? Based on one damn poll? Please. Obama has the better ground game and I think he'll win here with no problems. Here's my other question: are there really people out there whose political persuasion can change on a dime, with the latest poll or pundit-talk influencing them? Most people that I know have really strong political convictions that would not be shaken in a hurricane. Who ARE these "swing voters"?? I think it all comes down to who motivates their supporters more. IF Hillary is the nominee I will vote for her, but not as enthusiastically as I would Obama.

21. BS poll
AAs are only accounted for 25% of that poll. They will really be at atleast 33%. plus in that poll they only go 64% for Obama. in PA they went 92% for Obama.

but hey, lower the expectations :).
