Another SD for Obama!! Today's SD Net Gain: Obama 5, Clinton 0
My prediction: Obama will be tied with Clinton in SD by May 6th

Net gain: Obama 5, Clinton 0*

Obama gets Texas DNC member John Patrick, citing his record on trade, fighting for working class.

Also expected to pick up three prominent Illinois supers — Mayor Daley, House Majority Leader Barbara Flynn Currie and Cook County Board President Todd Stroger — as the state finishes filling out its delegate slate.

And gets former DNC leader Joe Andrew after a defection from Clinton.

While Clinton is expected to get Connecticut AFL-CIO President John Olsen.

*Superdel Andrew leaves Clinton camp for Obama.

2. So wouldn't her net gain be -1?
The best part is: he cited her (McCain's) stupid gas holiday idea AND Rev. Wright as the reason for switching to Obama.

8. She did get an AFL-CIO guy today.
So I think it's 5 for Obama and a net of 0 for her. Which might make the deficit only 14 or so, I believe.

13. Looks like the ol' Tonya Harding Strategy is backfiring.
Just like it did on the real Tonya.

4. So he's closed the SD gap to 15?
Edited on Thu May-01-08 11:47 AM by rocknation
If he wins NC and stays close in IN, it could be with single digits by this time next week--making it that much more difficult for Hillary to "seal a deal" with the superdelegates.

10. I actually think it might be 13 now.
Demconwatch switched Andrew and now has the deficit at 17.

But I think there were 3 extra SDs from IL today + the guy mentioned in this thread.

So that extra 4 should bring it down to 13.

14. Wow, 5-0 so far...
I heard Hil may be getting a couple as well.

But the SD's are saying to the electorate: We are letting the media whores define the man. Good on em!
