to stay neutral on who that will be.

However, I really don't understand the intense hatred that Hillary evokes from (mostly) men. She's seems entirely likable and incredibly competent. She is strong and tireless. I prefer her to her husband and wish she could drop his baggage, as she is totally capable in her own right. Both candidates have corporate connections and they aren't all that far apart on the issues. Hillary is being judged on her husband's policies, while we have no guarantee that Obama would have been (would be) any different.

We hear so much about how people who haven't fallen under the Obama spell must be racists. My observation is that there is a group of Obama supporters who hate Hillary because she's an older woman. (Young men with Mommy-issues? People who still resent the smart girl from the third grade?)

Since then, I've really admire the way she's run her campaign. As for people changing sides...

I was an Edwards supporter until he dropped out. After that, I spent awhile looking at the two campaigns and what they stood for. I found that both of their policy stances were extremely similar and that didn't encourage me to support either one over the other. What finally swayed me was the negativity I feel the Clinton campaign brought to the table after Super Tuesday. I understand you may not see it as I do but I thought she went over the acceptable line too many times and kept the focus on things that won't help the vast majority of the American people. After seeing it happen a few times I moved over into the Obama camp. I don't know if you consider that changing sides, but I can honestly say that the style of her campaign is what kept me from supporting Clinton.

I have always been opposed to the politics of Senator Clinton, but damn I sure want to be on the same team with you Clinton supporters. Kudos to all of you.

I am thinking that something good could come out of this current intra-party nightmare of acrimony and hatred: a consensus that will lead to a new and stronger party - a party that does not require one faction to be bullied into submission by another, that is no longer dependent upon some culture war with the right wingers for a purpose, that is inclusive without compromising on the principles and ideals of the party, that makes those principles and ideals the priority, that goes for results rather than settling for merely being "right" in a self-righteous way. You folks are taking the lead on that.
