Dear God, I Hope This Is The End Of This Awful Primary Season

I just read that Obama picked up five SDs today vs. none for Clinton. One was a switch from Clinton, so I guess that actually puts her at -1 for the day.

I'm praying to my favorite deities that this mass movement marks the end of this awful period in the history of our party, that Obama will soon be over the top in the delgate count. Then we can get on with the inevitable effort against the Republicans, instead of watching the disturbing spectacle our nominee getting hand grenades thrown at him by a fellow Democrat.

2. I hope the primary season ends soon as well

because I think we need to unite against McCain. He should be our target from now until November. And since the MSM is silent about his adultery, his embrace of a Catholic-hating minister, his 100 year war, we need to figure out ways to get this information out to the general public.

The only thing I worry about, is no matter what the SD count looks like, Hillary will "not" drop out, but come up with some new reason why she should stay in till the convention while things go on as they have been! :cry:

and I'd be willing to bet money on that. (I'm not flush, so by money I mean half a benjamin, max.. which isn't money that would be nothing for me to lose.)

however, I think Dean already quashed that idea with his remark that he thinks one candidate should drop out by June because we need to end the divisiveness and start working on a campaign against McCain. It's jmo, but I think that the superdelegates will put one or other other over the top by then. I think the one they'll put over the top is Obama.

At about this same time, a political insider/blogger that was posted here said that the superdelegates who serve in the house do not want Hillary as the nominee because she could cause them to lose their seats b/c Clinton would bring out republicans in droves just because they dislike her so much. So, if Hillary's fellow members of the legislative branch of govt don't want her to be the nominee, seems to me she should get a clue before she ruins her career within the party.

A lot of people are disgusted by her remark about McCain v. Obama on nat'l security issues. That was unprecedented and, to me, made me move from dislike to disgust. Oh, and I'm one of those white middle-aged women who are supposedly all about Clinton. That's just not true.
