Another example of Hillary saying anything to get elected: now wants to give Guam full voting rights
Edited on Sat May-03-08 09:21 AM by TeamJordan23
In an interview with KUAM-TV, Clinton, asked about giving Guam citizens the right to vote for president, said, "I am in favor of full voting rights for every American and that includes the people on Guam."

Watch the video HERE.

"It seems to me that it is long past time that we remedy this inequity," Clinton said. "It doesn't reflect American values; it is out of step with the move toward equality and full citizenship rights, and I will do everything I can to make sure the people of Guam's votes are counted. My Question for Hillary:

1. Why did you not do anything about this issue during the Clinton years?
2. By essentially making Guam a state, maybe you should tell them that we would be collecting federal tax from their citizens also then.

7. Puerto Rico
Yes, DC.....should go to Maryland, where it was carved from, because the minute you give DC statehood, you will create the perception that this is not a state, it is a city, it should not have state power, and this will lead many city governments in this country, for whatever reason, to also desire what DC has. It opens a pandora's box.

The Virgin Islands and the Marianas should remain as they are

3. Doesn't that have to be voted on by the
people in Guam, voted on by our other states and ratified before anything of the sort comes about?

6. "saying anything"? - that sounds familiar
Why sure - that's an Obama campaign talking point.

“While they continue to employ the say-and-do-anything tactics of the past,

All those things are important. But what's also important that people are not just willing to say anything to get elected. And.

Whether it is Barack Obama’s record, her position on Social Security, or even the meaning of the Florida Primary, it seems like Hillary Clinton will do or say anything to win an election.

"It’s what’s wrong with politics today. Hillary Clinton will say anything to get elected. Now she’s making false attacks on Barack Obama.

"Hillary Clinton. She’ll say anything, and change nothing. It’s time to turn the page. Paid for by Obama for America."
