Because that is the precedent that appears to have been set here now. If something is on YouTube its fair game to many people.

Even if that something is known to be false they can still keep posting it here forever.

Does anyone think that is good for us? I think we need to start using a little common sense.

The OP is attempting to hold DU management respionsible for that, an idea which i find to be quite ridiculous.

It is equivalent to holding DU responsible for someone linking to the NYT coverage leading up to the invasion of Iraq.

You do realize there is a documentary called "The War Room", and that at least two newspapers (The WaPo and the Australian Morning Herald) wrote in 1993 and 1995 respectively about the "those people are sh_t" comment contained in the move and interpreted it as a slight to Indiana voters.

I don't know anything about the second link to u-tube that you mentioned. Why is it a problem to link to a clip from a documentary?

Kantor is clearly talking about "those people (in the White House) are $h!tting" just as the director said.

Why would Kantor call Hoosiers "$h!t" when they were voting his guy into office? It doesn't make sense.

We need to be careful about this kind of hoaxing, especially when it's something that we may want to believe because it helps our guy.

We owe Kantor a big apology. And to the Clinton supporters who claimed it was phony? You were right!

As for the Admins, I sent them an e-mail asking them to lock the video threads. I'm sure I wasn't alone.

But they have are in a tough spot: they don't want to seem guilty of stifling "free speech" . . . or worse to seem guilty of conspiring to hide an unpleasant truth.
