Why in the world would anyone feel the need to doctor a video to make it seem someone supporting Clinton uttered a racist slur? What possessed someone with so much hate that they had to lie and lie in the most evil way to try to slur someone? Why stoop to such an act of desperation to do this? Who would do such a thing?

What does that tell you about the caliber of support out there that will stoop to the lowest of the low to 'help' their candidate? What does that tell you of all those that were so eager to believe this filth that they jumped on the bandwagon being quite certain that it was true and some still refusing to believe it's a nasty and hateful lie?

For every follower that freaked out, there were followers like me that didn't. When the thing hit I made one post about it, which said I was embarrassed to be an Obama supporter today (that day.)

Just because SOME supporters are jackasses doesn't tell you anything about ALL supporters or even most supporters here.

Same thing is true of Clinton supporters, by the way. Though there are some amazing jackasses on that side as well, those individuals tell me nothing about ALL Clinton supporters or even most. Most Clinton supporters, god bless em, are true blue democrats who bust there asses to take this country back. It goes without saying that right now, I STRONGLY disagree with them on this issue of a nominee. But so what? I'll be standing side by side with most of them LONG AFTER THIS NIGHTMARE PROCESS IS OVER.

12. Why? I would venture to say this primary season has been the

epitome of lying, hateful, underhanded, evil, racist and sexist behavior and some supporters on both sides have become unhinged. If you can, objectively, go back to the beginning of all the disgusting crap that has been hurled in this campaign, you may find your answer. There is never an excuse for bad behavior, but it is what it is.

This tape business you speak of is hardly the worst thing that has been done during this campaign. In my opinion, this primary season will always be remembered for the smears, lies, dirty deeds, etc., between two people of the same party.

I haven't commented on the tape because I was out most of the day on Friday and, when I did log on to DU, it was a mess. I did listen to one of the tapes and couldn't make out what was being said, so I left it alone with no opinion.

Again, I, in no way, think this was the worst that has happened during this campaign; but you are certainly entitled to your opinion.
