Rush Limbaugh Strategy Works for Clinton In Guam
Exposed Story

Guam -- Has the Rush Limbaugh strategy helped presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton run a tight race in Guam?

Republican and Independent voters switched teams yesterday making a predicted caucus blowout for Democrat candidate Sen. Barrack Obama a razor tight race with Obama only beating his rival Clinton by 7 votes.

Conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh has been urging his minions for months to switch parties and vote for Clinton in caucuses and primaries were it is allowed. He and many other conservatives believe that Republicans have a better chance of maintaining the White House with Sen. John McCain running
against Hillary.

While the Clinton campaign team is spinning the close race in Guam as a victory, the fact that non-Democrats made the caucus a tight race has not gone unnoticed and worries some.

13. I believe WV is closed. I know KY is a closed primary.
In KY, if you were a registered Republican or Independent, you actually had to switch your registration to Democrat by December 31, 2007! So no chance of Operation Chaos padding Hillary's margin there.

Not sure about Oregon... does anyone know?

Ky is going to be hard enough as it is. Atleast now Obama has halfway of a shot at getting through to the democrats there. Hopefully he can atleast cut Clinton's lead by half and Increase his lead in Oregon.

25. I attended a really great, fun fundraiser for Obama last night in Newport, Kentucky.
It was held at a bar, and we had a great band, a packed house, and all kinds of fun games that people could participate in with a donation. My favorite was "Pin the Obama on the State."

It was hilarious watching people who'd had a few cocktails being blindfolded, spun around and led to a map where they had to stick an Obama sticker on a state he'd won. A lot of people hit the ocean, and we'd say "He hasn't won the oceans yet... BUT HE WILL!!"

I can't remember the last time I had so much fun. Obama support is STRONG in northern Kentucky!!!!

45. Oregon is a closed primary.
Edited on Sun May-04-08 01:54 PM by Qutzupalotl
People had until April 29 to register as Democrats to participate. There were about 62,000 new voters registered for this primary.

I got my ballot in the mail on Friday, and voted for Obama immediately. I'll study the downballot initiatives and candidates for other offices and mail it in (we're an all-vote-by-mail state).

Keep in mind that Oregon can vote TODAY and any day up until May 20...and Obama's leading in the polls!

11. That's the way I heard it.
My understanding is that it was supposed to be heavily in her favor - so now that it wound up a squeaker they make the claim that it was Obama's all along and a tie shows he's lost momentum.

5. Rush is a player, but only in his drug-altered head
He is going to look like an even bigger asshole (if that's possible) when a Dem wins the WH in November, thanks to his push for Hillary.

I wonder what his dittoheasds will think of him then. They are already alarmed at his stupid games.

If a Dem wins the whitehouse he gets talkshow fodder.
If McCain wins he claims success.

15. Rush loses either way.
He is already stuck with a candidate he hates. He did not get Reagan II. Not even close.

No matter what happens in Nov., the hard right has already lost. They have a candidate they did not want or heartiy support. McCain is an anchor around their collective necks, and they are panicked ovet it.

On AFRN at least 2 hrs a day, usually delayed to play during the local noon-2 time frame. Broadcast on AM & FM. Would be a very popular station with anyone living there to get music and news.

29. He's not on any commercial station
Here are a few lists:

http://radiostationworld.com/locations/Guam/Radio.asp
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Guam_radio

There's one talk station in all of Guam, and it doesn't carry Rush.

As for AFRN, I'm not sure how much of Rush's show they carry there, if at all. Or even on what frequency. Maybe shortwave, but would that even get ratings? I honestly think Rush has no coverage in Guam. Therefore, I doubt anyone there has any idea about this so-called "Operation Chaos."

24. I'm sure they have electricity. Radio might be another issue as that requires audiences large...
enough to support broadcasting (at least for commercial radio), there is also shortwave though so I guess they could pick up signals from far away.

Going into the last, largest precinct, Obama ahead by about 200 votes. With only about 4,000 voting, it doesn't take too many ditto heads to make a difference. Aren't there 500 provisional ballots? There will be more to come on Guam.

49. I think
Having listened to Rush for a good many years I now think that Rush in his twisted little mind wants Hillary to win. In his twisted mind he doesn't think Barack has a chance which would force him to support someone he really despises by the name of McCain.Anyone who listens to Rush knows he has often bragged that his show is most popular when the opposition is in the white house. Another point is who is most likely to reimplement the fair broadcast idea which would force an alternate opinion to one being broadcast on the air? I think it would be Obama rather than Hillary. Could you imagine Rush going against some truth on a daily basis? I think his show would fold within a year and he knows it.
