Yes because Obama's lawyers caused them to break the rules in the first place to move up their vote? If the majority of the local party their put their support and money where there mouths were they could have a re-vote, an actual court appearance by those lawyers would have been big news. It's actually better for Hillary if they don't re-vote and she can force them to be seated anyway. No one is saying she wouldn't win, just that she would lose votes/delegates.

In any other year where the party had it's nominee tied up into a neat bow for them this wouldn't be an issue. You don't see NC or Oregon complaining every year when there is only one nominee left for them to vote on.

Look, there are rules. MI and FL chose to break them even when they were "reminded" by the DNC that if they insisted on moving their dates up, their delegates would not be seated. ALL of the candidates agreed with this interpretation of the rules (including Clinton).

Michigan, at least, has had the decency to admit that the DNC called their bluff. Florida has been outrageously irresponsible.


The bottom line is that the DEMOCRATIC state legislators in FL and MI made this happen. It's not Obama's fault or Dean's fault, it's their fault. Yes, it's very unfortunate that FL and MI primary voters won't get a say, but they can blame their Dem legislators for that...and, by extension...themselves for electing those legislators.

I voted for John Edwards. I saw him speak in April of last year, and that would be the only time I got to hear from any of the candidates because of the bullshit DNC decision to strip all our delegates. I now am supporting Obama, but I still maintain & will continue to maintain that stripping our delegets was bitch move because of the divisiveness it is now causing us in the Democratic primary.
