If you got suck into a jacked up loan, or bought a house you could not afford using an interest only loan, but did not read the find print, well then you wanted to be homeless. I worked in the Financial industry, I would sit at people's kitchen table and plead with them that those enticing low interest variable loans would not be in their best interest once the INT only phase ended. I encouraged them to get a fixed rate loan the only type I marketed, and a lot of people, chose the crappy loan. Bottom line You get what you pay for!
