John Roberts said CNN has declared a “Rev. Wright-free zone”– “our viewers want us to move on.”

http://thepage.time.com/

Can anyone else verify this? I can find no other mentions of it online.

If true, let's drop Mr. Roberts a note of thanks for standing up for what's right. http://www.cnn.com/feedback/forms/form4.html?97

2. I will do that. And I'm going to email MSNBC about it, too. If
CNN has gotten lots of feedback from viewers saying they're sick of Wright, then MSNBC must have, too. As a matter of fact, I had emailed MSNBC last week telling them that until they cut out the All Wright All the Time BS, then the only one I would watch is KO.

Time for another round of emails everybody.

7. Nice, I emailed MSNBC last week myself...
Edited on Mon May-05-08 09:20 AM by DangerousRhythm
...and I don't normally mail cable news channels. I've done it maybe twice in four years. I just couldn't take the pastorbation anymore and wound up writing the MSNBC morning people a scathing email.

33. Can you or others post individuals email addresses to MSM programs
I am looking to find out the emails. I am fed up with BS on the air and biased reporters.

They drug it out hard and long enough to get it pull him down in NC and probably ensure Hill gets Indiana ...

Edited on Mon May-05-08 09:18 AM by DangerousRhythm
...color me shocked. Seriously, moving on from a stupid issue, WILLINGLY? Does that ever happen on cable news unless the old stupid issue is replaced with a newer, dumber issue? Is this even possible?

9. 1a.m. last night. Couldn't sleep. Crime show listed on MSNBC. Turn it on. What do I see?
Reverend Fucking Wright, one-hour special.

They preempted regular programming to play more Reverend Wright.

It's times like this that they abandon subtlety and we see the agenda of the corporate media.

21. They've been rerunning that all weekend
since it first aired Friday night. After it was airing again on Saturday, I finally had enough and sent Dan Abrams producers an email complimenting him on becoming MSNBC's Sean Hannity. I never write these shows, but their bias has long since gone over the top, so if I got to that point, I'm sure many others did as well. I will not watch anymore of their garbage, with the exception of Keith O.

18. The damage is done
The trick is that they know if they spend months at a time on some horseshit issue, constantly pounding it day in and day out, with every dumbass pundit pontificating about how it's hurting a candidate, it's going to have an effect on peoples perceptions. It doesn't matter whether anybody actually cares or not.

It's so frickin' unbelievable how they'll devote hour after hour after hour after hour to this insignificant crap and totally neglect the real issues of the day.

34. Hey, sure.
Usually I just think of those calls as venting. I picture them just deleting all the remarks one after another. But, who knows, maybe sometimes after enough people complain it does sway them a bit...
