If Obama losses both tomorrow it means nothing.........
First off, he will win NC tomorrow easily. And get close in IN.

But these posts about if he losses both tomorrow it is over are a joke.

We won 11 states in a row after super tuesday by huge margins and if anyone said Hillary was done at that point they were insulted and said Hillary could stay in as long as she wanted.

He won Mississippi by 25% and then lost PA by 9 and just won Guam.

How in the world can anyone say if he losses tomorrow that is it?

The clinton camp never ceases to amaze me.

2. ...Especially not if he ends up with at least 40% of the vote
Every time Hillary fails to get at least 69% of the vote from here on in, her hole gets a little deeper.

Obama will gain a lot of delegates in NC and split them in Indiana
Since it's about delegates (as much as Hillary wants to change the rules), Obama will advance further in his insurmountable delegate lead.

Obama is the nominee. It's just up to the Clinton campaign to face the TRUTH.

Would be "white flight" due to Wright. That's why he might be in deep trouble if he loses both.

It's a big fucking lie to shake people's confidence. This thing has been over since at least the day SHE LOST Texas.

think of how it will be spun. it means his chances of getting the nomination diminish considerably. Fortunately, he'll win NC.

I dont care what your department of lowered expectations says. Obama can't lose NC. If he does, I think it's forseeable that he loses every single state from here on out.

18. PLEASE...
I am continually amazed by the Clinton camp, their surrogates, and anyone else that continues to support this candidate unwaveringly and with big fat blinders on. The way she has tried to manipulate the process and the people when things haven't panned out for her is disappointing to say the very least.

24. "lost PA by 9"
PA could almost be considered aa win for him. When they started out, Hillary had a 25 leadin PA. He made major gains.

Disclaimer: I don't care who gets the nom. I'm voting Democratic.

31. That's right. Obama would still win the nomination fair and square.
Edited on Mon May-05-08 11:49 AM by Life Long Dem
But now, Clinton has a secret weapon called the nuclear option. A Huffington article explains this. I don't trust everything in the article since it appears biased for Clinton. But it gives you an idea of what obstacles she would need to overcome. Also, I read this yesterday, and they had an update on the article today (looks like it was the quote added in the article, not the quote below).

For her to use the nuclear option she would need to first overcome a couple obstacles.
First, this coming Tuesday, Clinton would have to win Indiana and lose North Carolina by a very small margin - or better yet, win the Tar Heel state. She would also have to demonstrate continued strength in the contests before May 31.

Second, and equally important, her argument that she is a better general election candidate than Obama -- that he has major weaknesses which have only been recently revealed -- would have to rapidly gain traction, not only within the media, where she has experienced some success, but within the broad activist ranks of the Democratic Party.

32.  "Continued strength": winning ALL FIVE of the May contests with 69% of the vote
Not one, not two, not four--ALL FIVE. That would get her delegate numbers within a respectable distance of Obama's.

As for "major weaknesses," Hillary's major weakness is that she HASN'T be able to beat a candidate with major weaknesses!
