Is Winning At All Costs A Good Thing For The People?
I just read a post where a DUer states that he supports Hillary because she is willing to "Win at all costs". That got me to thinking about history and other modern leaders who were willing to go down that road. I honestly can't think of one who did anything good for the people of their country after using desperate or nefarious means to gain power.

So my question is can anyone think of a good leader who was willing to sacrifice truth, honesty, decency (and maybe a few thousand lives) who went on to do more good than bad?
