For those of you who don't know me, I originally support John Edwards for President. It wasn't until after Edwards dropped out I had this conflict on whom to support. After debating Obama and Clinton, I made the decision Senator Clinton was the better and more prepared candidate to be President of the United States. And I voted for her in the Missouri primary. I still believe to this day she's the better of the two.

I came to the conclusion though that she could not win. I felt it was appropriate to come together, and unify behind Barack Obama...who would be/will be the Democratic nominee. I've always respected and admired Senator Obama, and think he'd make a great President. And despite thinking Clinton is better, I knew his time was now. So I called on Clinton to drop out, tried to make the case she had no chance, and instead focused on soon-to-be nominee Obama and his General Election battle against John McCain. I even called some Hillary supporter friends to talk about the state of the race, and why I thought they should join Team Obama and help defeat John McCain instead of fight a losing battle for the nomination.

With all of that said.....

I still love Hillary Clinton.

Ever since winning PA, I've really liked the fight she's got left in her. And I think Tom Petty's "No I won't back down" is absolutely appropriate for her. For someone like me who said she should drop out, it's awesome to see her and Obama finally talking about the issues some...especially in the last few days on the gas tax especially (which I disagree with her on)...instead of on Rev. Wright or 'bitter' or Bosnia. It's good to see these two candidates talking about what seperates them from the other, and talking about why they're the best for our country. This is when Hillary is at her best....

When she's talking about the issues, instead of talking about the political non-issues!!

So to Hillary supporters, best of luck tomorrow!!

I still love your girl ;)

Even if I do support Obama, and think he's the only one who can win the nomination when you look at the math and the facts on the ground.

I love Hillary Clinton :)

4. Very nice
And as a Hillary supporter it is these kinds of posts that inspire me to be willing to campaign for Obama should he be the nominee. Too bad there are not more of these.

8. I've always been impressed by Hillary
when I've seen her during Senate hearings, etc --

I just drifted toward Obama when my first choice dropped out.

But I have to say, I'm not all that sure it's a done deal about Obama getting the nom. We've had the rug yanked out from under us repeatedly during this campaign (both candidates), so I'm not going to assume she's out of the running at this point.

It's been like one of those perpetual wave machines.

So, good luck to BOTH our candidates tomorrow!

11. Yeah, my highlight was when she took Obama at his word that he isn't a Muslim.
Of course, that was before the Rev. Wright stuff really exploded on the scene.

She has had numerous opportunities to condemn race/religion baiting, and has walked away from them.

She's all about winning. I respected Hillary Clinton, but never loved her; now I don't respect her, either.

And if I have to vote for her in November, I will do so, firmly grasping my nose.

12. A few long months ago I could and would have said the same.
I would always be the first person to defend her from the right wing smear tactics at work or anywheres else. It is a shame it is like it is. She has become the bitter ex girlfriend bent on revenge.

20. That's simply not true. You're listening to too many RW talking points.
"She has become the bitter ex girlfriend bent on revenge."

How can you watch and listen to her and think such a thing? Maybe you are confusing her with Rev. Wright. She's just campaigning...just like Obama. I'll never forgive him for starting the race card and then blaming Clinton. That was unconscionable!

15. you love her FIRE?!
Her FIRE happens to be bashing the Dem party nominee.

So, if you LOVE Hillary then I suggest you stop pretending to support Obama. Stick with 'your GIRL' and deal with the ramifications.

But I hope that America continues to repudiate her Rovian tactics. Theres fighting and then theres stabbing in the back and vote suppression.

and anything but the issues. Every time we get to the issues, she loses.
