From what I've read today on GD-P, Hillary supporters support the nuke option
Edited on Mon May-05-08 03:49 PM by JMDEM
Nuke the Democratic Party for Hillary. From what I've read so far today on GD-P, this is quite acceptable to the Hillary supporters posting here.

As I've said many times before, apparently it doesn't matter what she says or does, you still support her. And then you call us the kool-aid drinkers.

Care to explain this?

1. My take is they will support whatever gets her the nod
No matter how much it helps the repugs or splits our party.

2. I'm not one of them, but here's my take:
They think Hillary is the best chance to beat John McCain.

They think Hillary will do the best job of restoring our country and attacking new problems.

And whatever it takes to get there, it must be done, because those points I mentioned are too important.

True, she threatened to obliterate Iran. She didn't say that she would obliterate the Dem. Party
even though she would.

4. If she tries it, the Senate should kick her out. The Repos would probably come to her defense though

being asked to explain things.

So the answer would be

No.

also --what evidence do you have that this "Nuclear Option" is anything other than the fevered imagination of a 2nd rate blooger?

But that's a-okay with you, obviously.

14. This "Nuc Option" is Obama hysteria.
Anyway, the DNC Rule's Committee used the "Nuclear Option" when they threw out their very own rules on how to treat Michigan and Florida and instead when nuke on those two states. Further, they did not treat Iowa, NH and South Carolina as the rules dictated.

Dean and Donna pushed the red button last summer on two states while helping three states slide under the barbed wire and hide in a bunker they created for Obama.

23. Do your own research.
Its not new research - the fact you don't already know this seems like willful ignorance.

So who was doing what for whom is the question?

17. There is nothing legitimate about a vote
that voters were informed ahead of time wouldn't count. There is no way to say that the results are even remotely accurate. There is no way to determine what the true turnout would have been or the demographics of that turnout. Just saying "But a lot of people showed up!" is meaningless.

Especially without a candidate's name on one of the ballots.

Anyone with a hint of intellectual honesty would admit that.

25. Like Bush, Obama can only win by NOT counting ALL of the votes
If Obama wins the nom he will have a permanently stained * (asterisk) beside his name for eternity...

2008 Obama* -- the votes from 2 states (which were won handily by candidate Clinton) were not counted.

..and are only staking this ground now that Hillary needs those votes. If she didn't they wouldn't care at all about those two states.
