No matter what, can we be classy tomorrow night?
This will probably fall on deaf ears, but tomorrow night is probably going to be a rough night for one group of supporters here. I think Zogby's poll of Indiana is complete bullshit, but if somehow Obama does win Indiana, it will likely be the end of Senator Clinton's campaign. If she pulls off an upset in North Carolina or comes close and blows him out in Indiana, it may not be the end for Obama immediately, but it will be a serious setback that could jeopardize his chance of being the nominee.

I was a Deaniac in 2004, and I remember how painful the end was. Watching his support collapse for a month after Iowa was like a slow, agonizing death, and then seeing him actually drop out was like getting punched in the stomach all over again. So if Clinton ends her campaign after tomorrow night, I hope that my fellow Obama supporters will be classy and sympathetic and resist the urge to gloat. When Edwards dropped out, I was disappointed in some of my fellow Obama supporters (and Clinton supporters) who harassed Edwards supporters to declare allegiance to a new candidate and did not show enough empathy for how painful it was for his supporters, especially those who had been active with his campaign.

Similarly, if Clinton has a great night tomorrow night, I hope that Clinton supporters will have enough class to start their own thread to celebrate and refrain from posting obnoxious threads that make us feel worse.

At the end of the day, we are all Democrats, and acting like sore winners is a sure way to alienate the other candidate's supporters whose support we need in the fall.

So who will join me in pledging to be gracious tomorrow night no matter what the outcome?

2. Apreciate the sentiment, but there will be no campaign-ending tomorrow night.
Clinton will continue her campaign regardless of the outcome and her more obnoxious supporters here will claim it a great victory.

Buckle up for another month of this.

6. Tommorow night
We will have more trolls than usual..I'm not talking about general Hillary supporters but people signing up for a day to start shit..but we should be gracious and just hit alert and be respectful to the true Hillary supporters.

7. Its quite sad, but when we actually create our own threads, it helps a lot.
For all the primaries that have had Obama or Clinton supporter threads, it's been very peaceful, at least in the Obama thread

8. I'll make the same promise I made before PA: if Obama wins, I won't gloat....
and if Hillary wins I won't whine or make excuses (unless there are indications of vote fraud, and in that case it won't be pretty).

No matter how it goes, I want to say again how proud I am to be part of the community of Obama supporters. There is not a day that goes by that I don't see a crowd watching or listening to Obama, or talk to another Obama supporter on the street, or see part of an Obama speach on You-Tube that I am not again struck by how lucky I am that now twice in my lifetime (the first was JFK) that I was part of a community supporting a candidate that really was pushing for change, and looking at the future with hope and determination.

Of course, I said that last time, and signed on the next morning to see Hillary supporters gloating over her pissant little win.

But I will keep my promises, no matter how asshatatious the Clinton supporters are if Clinton wins (which she won't, by the way, but I'm swept away by the Kumbaya spirit now).

9. I promise to be classy ... I'll be doing it in the library, trying to finish end-of-semester work!
I may peek in a couple of times, but I have so much freaking writing to finish this week that I can't afford to even follow the election results!

Have fun everyone ... and stay classy!

I'll repeat ... I voted for Obama, but I will support -- with my heart and sole (as in shoeleather) -- whichever Democrat gets nominated at the end of all this craziness. If the superdelegates decide it all, I won't be happy, but I'll suck it up and do my part.

ABM!!!

ANYONE. BUT. MCCAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

10. I was here after Wisconsin
and I watched and read all the threads from Obama supporters holding out olive branches to the Clinton supporters.

I cautioned then that it was way too early and that the HillShill would bite the extended hands.

I was right.

Even should Obama win both contests tomorrow, I would caution again that it's too early.

It will remain too early until either Hillary drops out or concedes or there is an actual vote to make Obama the nominee.

Even should Obama have 2025 of the delegates... and I have every reason to believe that this will happen before Jun3... even then, I don't think Hillary will give up nor will her supporters be friendly to the rest of us.

12. Kicking to remind my fellow Obama supporters
Please be classy...tonight has to be at least as painful for Clinton supporters as the past few weeks have been for us. Please be classy tonight.
