Oil hitting 121.00 a barrel right now....
so that means that gas will go up. So much for your 30 bucks meaning anything, huh?

BTW, Remember to pump in the cold early morning hours when gasoline is more dense and not as vaporous. Gives you a truer gallon.....and, don't pump on full lock speed....gives the vapors time to escape.

She's gonna shut down OPEC, she said.

Right after she get Guam recognized in a General Election, Gives Statehood to Puerto Rico, and drives over in her red pick up to make Rush Limbaugh some soup from a chicken that she shot on a hunt.

7. It doesn't matter if it is 30 or 300
You won't see a dime's difference at the pump. This has been explained over and over and over again. The price at the pump will simply rise by whatever the reduction in federal tax per gallon is. Absent price controls, which nobody is proposing, there will be no relief at the pump. The McCain/Clinton Pump Scam is a sick joke intended to fool people upset about rising fuel costs into thinking that there are simple solutions to a really serious and complex problem. I am sorry that you have been lied to again by your chosen candidate. The oil companies will take the tax relief, the highway trust fund will take the hit, the price at the pump will be driven by the cost of crude, which continues to rise, and we will pay for this crap in taxes and additional debt and underfunded highway maintenance. Did McCain/Clinton forget to mention that part?

9. Well indeed it is for now.
Oil company profits have never been higher. Your husband's pension is quite safe for the next 20 years or so, after that probably not.

By the way, the chances of McCain/Clinton getting a windfall profits tax through our corrupt congress are nil.

12. Good, The Oil Companies Themselves May Save The Planet
by forcing us to look for cheaper energy. Seems to be the only way it might get done.

other things like what Exxon is getting into. Monopolize and diversify. Heck, the oil company hubby worked for (Kendall Motor Oil) went to Witco and then to Sunoco and then to Crompton and now with Chemtura (chemicals) and now they are making some kind of food growth and control thing under the premise of chemical additives. So, look at the fake food crisis and they will make a mint there now. Oil is just a small part of their portfolio now.

17. Me thinks that the stock market people are playing us.
This has not much to do with sales of oil but with sales of stocks just like the housing stuff. The CEO and fund movers are the ones making a good deal of this money. It is a lot of hot air with money being made on stocks way over cost. It has worked in many fields so why not with housing and oil? To bad when the whole thing blows up which it does seem to do. we do use more oil for big cars and homes and we do seem to need even more of them per person.
