You and the Repukes sure must have a rather dull sex life as you are compelled to bring up Clinton's penis in discussions. Living vicariously through Bill's sex life? Do you get off on thinking about those stains on the blue dress? :puke:

74. It won't go away in the media. But it's never resonated significantly with voters.
The beautiful thing about the media blowing its wad this early and having it fizzle with the public (this, based on Obama's favorables among white voters, which only fluctuated by 5% and have continued to increase, and direct polling saying that Rev. Wright was not a significant issue) is that it pretty much takes all the wind out of the story for the future.

Of course it will keep being mentioned, but it just isn't resonating. So talk all you want about it, it doesn't matter.

27. And then they tried to educate Joe on a couple of things
And then Joe got David Axelrod on the phone quick to get shift the white/black ratio back to his comfort zone. :-)

Well - it was nice to see two black people at the same time.

The fact that it's such a big deal is very telling, isn't it? These folks think nothing of having all white panels hour after hour, but when for 5 minutes they have 2 black people on at the same time, it's a phenomenon.

64. It's unfortunate that you have difficulty reconciling complex concepts
But someone can be right about most things while being wrong about others without being divisive, destructive and ridiculous. And someone can also be right about most things, wrong about others AND reach a point of being divisive, destructive and ridiculous. And since divisive, destructive and ridiculous are relative, subjective terms, different people can have different opinions about when someone reaches that point.

So you might find it "funny and predictable" - I call it part of the complicated dynamics of human beings.

Sort of like how some DUer's think that Pat Buchanan is wrong most of the time and is at the same time a divisive, destructive and ridiculous person, while other DUers seem to think he's just fine.

72. *I* never said the remarks were "divisive, destructive and ridiculous"
so I have had no "change of heart" about what he said, notwithstanding your mischaracterization of my opinions and observations.

As I said, perhaps you're having trouble understanding the complexities of my points - that may explain your attempts to grossly oversimplify what I have said.

87. I neither believe that the government did this
nor that it is "ridiculous" for someone of Rev. Wright's age and experience to think that it did.

You see, unlike you, I do not assume that the views of anyone who sees things differently than I do are ridiculous nor do I feel the need to attack, denounce, or get up and storm out whenever I hear them say something that I don't agree with.

There is a point at which I draw the line - for example, Pat Buchanan. Apparently your perception of what is offensive differs significantly from mine, given your tolerance of Pat Buchanan contrasted with your obsession with Jeremiah Wright.

To each his own.

concept aren't you?

"Ridiculous" is a subjective term, not an objective fact. It is quite possible for me to think something is ridiculous while someone else does not, and vice versa. That does not make either of us "wrong" - unless you live in a white/black, up/down, kneejerk reactionionary, George Bush "my-way-or-the-highway-yer-either-wid-me-or-agin-me" universe.

But it is interesting that you're so blase about Pat Buchanan, who has run for president and spews offensive comments almost daily from a 24-7 national platform yet you are absolutely obsessed with Jeremiah Wright who has done neither to the point of trying to hikack a thread about Buchanan with an utterly irrelavant diatribe concernng MY views about Wright.

But, as I said, to each his own.

42. Stay Strong
It's just going to get worse and worse as we go into the General Election. The Rethugs are desperate and are going to pull out all the stops this time.

Nothing worthwhile is ever easy. Once Obama and America make it through the coming firestorm, we will have earned a mandate to make truly positive changes in this country.

55. No, just more evidence some people accept racism because it really doesn't affect them

51. Why is this filth still given air time?
It's time this man's voice be given no audience.

56. That's what I told them the last time I emailed the show.
They don't deserve an audience.

58. Pat Buchanan and Joe Scarborough don't even cover much for their racism anymore.
They're OUT THERE leading the choir ... To: The racist white rural areas.

"Morning Joe" to keep it ultra-real and use the theme song for "The Dukes of Hazard" as their bumper music. :puke:

Neither Buchanan nor Scarborough should be permitted to spread their thinly-veiled "racist FILTH" on national television. The only people of color on SERVE only in subservient roles.

62. It will be interesting to see how much coverage the Election gets. once Hillary suspends.
Morning Joe will then try his very best to avoid mentioning the General Election on his shows.
~just a hunch here.

68. Yes, I am sure KO has the gonads to attack a fellow
MSGOP employee. Buchanan might take him to the woodshed for a smack-down.

79. "Fellow" MSGOP employee?
I hardly think KO is Republican (actually, he says he doesn't vote; therefore, he isn't of either party), but I have seen KO take down other MSNBC employees when they were being stupid.

75. why does the msm give buchanan, beck and other racist fowl individuals airtime?
I have to assume when beck makes his anti-Muslim statements, anti-women statements, and buchanan makes his anti-Jewish, and anti-black statements, the networks must share those ideas

If this was the 30's and there was television, I have no doubt that they would give hitler a show of his own

Freedom of speech is one thing, but having individuals that promote hate on OUR public airwaves somehow doesn't sit right with me
