For anyone of any faith that would like to join me in a prayer for peace & change, please check in. Hey, it can't hurt!

Btw, I'm in the 4th district (older, mostly white, 87% repub) and there was low turnout. I know of 5 in my family that are repub and voting for Hillary because they think they have a better chance against her in the fall. (I'm so sorry, I tried) So, low turnout here is a good thing for Obama, I think.

5. We don't even know. Some think it's from a story, & form of "who's here?"
I don't remember the story. Maybe another hoosier can fill us in, but it's debated here. I've never been called an Indianian.

10. I just looked it up on Wikipedia
The real etymology is unknown but one of the stories is the one you use and one other is short for Who's Your (as in Who's Your Pa?). It has been used since 1826.

I'm from New York and I have no idea how we got the Big Apple thing. I'll look that up next.

6. I know, like a skunk at a picnic right? Perhaps times are changing.
If dems could convince people of faith that voting democrat is in their and the world's best interest, imagine what we could do. By the way, bless you. ;)

8. I once posted (jokingly) that Hugo Chavez might be right when he said Bush is the devil

I took all kinds of grief for giving the impression that I believed in an imaginary god person among the clouds.

I got accused of everything but being a snake handler here.

It was remarkable.

11. You are in Obamastan. Submit.
Been a lot of this around these days...

There's going to be more and more of this in society, too. Not accepting the necessity of religion is the path to marginalization.

12. Not trying to marginalize anyone, if you want to pray, pray, if you don't, don't.
If you want to simply mock people that have a faith, you are the one marginalizing people.

4. RE: Prayer
Hey even DU can pray

I pray to God, the Great Goddess that goodness and integrity prevail

To the Great Spirit who presides over all...who seeks justice and peace

That is what I am praying today....

I have a very holistic approach to faith and religion

May the great spirit Goddess mother bring our brother Obama to prevail
over the forces of the dark side.....O8) O8) O8) O8) O8) O8) O8)
Seven Angels is a spiritual statement
