What HRC's campaign has wrought with supporters...
Yesterday I was talking with a black, female co-worker and I asked her who she was supporting (I've known her to be a Democrat for quite some time)- HRC or Obama. She started out by telling me in the past she has always supported Hillary and Bill. That she loved them dearly until HRC's campaign. She added for the longest time she always watched the Clinton's with admiration, especially when it came to the advancement of minorities, but with Bill Clinton's recent statements and HRC's campaign, her support has eroded and now Obama inspires her and she believes he is the one who can push through the change this country really needs.

So this is just one more supporter who has been turned off by the actions of the HRC campaign.

How successful Axelrove has been in running Obama's negative campaign to paint the Clintons as racist.

apparently it even worked on you.

3. wow- you should be a political pundit- your spin is
classic-

"don't look at me, HE made me do it!!!"

The Clintons own their actions- just like we all do.

19. Actually, they don't own their action. It's always someone else's fault if they screw up or fail.

4. Some of us have been less concerned about Hillary as...
a possible racist and more concerned about her being a definite DLC leader. No thanks.

8. Um....this was a co-worker, and she's not the only one..
another co-worker, a great, staunch feminist friend, has also been greatly turned off of the HRC campaign. So I guess it is just not us three. Now, the one highlight is another Democrat co-worker who has been driven to vote for HRC because guess why? Yep, he won't vote for the "black guy" and is trying to come up with any excuse to justify his rationale.

9. many many hundreds... perhaps well into 1000s
I'm on that list.

I loved Big Dog, even with his flaws (I didn't care what he did with his private life, and was only a little irritated that he lied about it... it was unfair to put him through that ordeal!).

Hillary was, I thought, a good selection for Senate from NY... and a definite FU to the VRWC types...

But now...

13. Only those who want them to be racist will
call them racist. This has been a "good reason" for those that want to vote for Obama to vote for Obama. No one needs a reason. Just vote for the one you want to be president. But at least be honest about it. My first choice is Hillary Clinton; if she loses to Obama I will vote for Obama. The main reason I like Hillary is she doesn't take crap from anyone and will stick it to the Republicans every chance she gets because she knows that is what we want.

18. i wouldn't even call them racist, i'd call them gleeful opportunists
that allowed the racism/fear of their supporters/surrogates/enemies to fester if it was politically advantageous

i'll still vote for her if she's the nominee, it's just dissapointing, that's all

23. And I agree with you...
I don't think they are racists either. But what I do think is they have become so ego-centric that they feel it is okay to make any statement they want.

15. How dare them "uppity nigrahs" not keep their 'place' so Hill and Bill continue 'advancing' them?
It's the "enlightened plantation owner" facade ... everything is wonderful as long as blacks play "Victim" to the Bill and Hill "Rescuer" role. But watch how FAST Hill and Bill assume the role of "Victim" when them folks stop playing according to the script.

:puke:

17. Thanks. I've watched this 'game' being played for nearly 5 decades.
I've seen it in all its forms ... from fire-bombings and cross-burnings to checkbook-liberalism and patronizing racism. It's an old game.

24. You give them too much credit...
The real painters are the Clintons themselves. They're not really racists, they just play them on TV. Say anything, do anything.

25. Agreed.
What the Clintons have shown us is that they are the true "empty suits" of this campaign. There's nothing inside of them apart from the "say whatever it takes" attitude they've displayed throughout this campaign.

Like so many here, I believed in them. Once. I bought Hillary's Living History book and even waited in line for her to sign it. I supported Bill through all the BS he brought upon himself. I honestly believed they had beliefs, values and morals in line with mine and those of the democratic party. It's been so sad to this isn't true. But their core beliefs are not the opposite of mine. The problem is they're completely amoral.

14. You must understand. It's the 'place' of blacks to be "advanced" by Hill and Bill.
It's like "Employee Appreciation" awards, handed out by our SUPERIORS to 'recognize' how well we've served them. NEVER mistake the self-serving acts of politicians for 'virtue.'

Hill and Bill are playing out the melodrama of their entire careers ... condemning those who have the temerity to make their own choices and not continue kow-towing to the Mandarin Clintons.

Despicable.
