After Today, There Will Be More SD (271) Than Pledged (217) Remaining
Do you really think that Hillary is going to drop out?

Her tactics will be

  • Destroy Trust In Obama
  • Add the majority of MI and FL delegates, somehow.
  • Win the remaining primaries (not delegates, just contests) to give her the appearance of a winner

She sees a road to the nomination, no matter how slim, how narrow, and how dangerous for the party. Clinton will be in till the end.

Obama's chance of sealing this deal is to win Indiana and NC, screw the margins, win the contests. This will give the remaining SD's more confidence in his standing, and that big ass chunk of California's SD's that haven't committed? They'll roll in for Obama, and Hillary will be lost.

2. She isn't going to quit until the convention

How else can she spoil Obama's chances in November...

3. Unfortunately for her

  • Obama's already won twice as many contests

  • Both candidates are expected to win only four contests each, rendering her looking like a winner strategy a wash

  • Howard Dean is not going to cut his own throat (and effectively cut the heart out of the progressive Dems) by seating MI/FL as is

  • If Obama does well enough tonight, enough superdelegates will come out for him to make him the presumptive nominee, which will put a huge dent in Hillary's nuclear option.

If she wants to win, the fair and square road to the nomination is still open--just win all eight of the remaining contests with at least 70% of the vote.
