NC: Early Election Day Indicators Point to Obama Win
From Durham, considered an African-American bellwether, turnout records smashed by 11:30 a.m., according to Mike ash, director of the Durham County Board of Elections.

www.rightpundit.com is reporting that "it appears Hillary is getting smashed."

For whatever it's worth. Rumor, innuendo, educated guesses, something in between.

1. She's "getting smashed"?
I have had my differences with her for the last few months, but I would hope that she does not resort to the bottle.

8. I wanna know what's happening in the rural areas before I start celebrating.
I have been doing GOTV in urban Charlotte the past few days, and by my experience it looks really good here. High turnout in urban neighborhoods. I called a list of newly registered AA's this AM, and the people I talked to had either early voted or were planning to vote later in the day. But I can only see my tiny little part of the elephant. They might be doing gangbusters in the boonies, too

12. I wouldn't get too excited about Durham just yet, but this is promising
I'm more interested in the outlying areas of the state. Obama is going to crush the shrew along the I'40 corridor, but the ends of the state remain to be seen. I'm still thinking he wins by at least 10-12 %.

23. "Crush the shrew along the I-40 corridor" - a really unpleasant, violent image
of road kill. Not unifying.

I distance myself from the comment. I'm not a big fan of Hillary's, but I don't like anyone talking about Democrats that way.

"I'm not a big fan of Hillary's, but I don't like anyone talking about Democrats that way."

Well you're in luck then, because Hillary isn't a Democrat :) She's the handpicked candidate of the Bilderberg Group, CFR, Trilateral Commission, all organizations of the Illuminati (Black Nobility). She was a Republican early in life, and went deep cover as a Democrat. The best way to destroy your enemy is from within. She tried to give Nixon grounds for appeal during his impeachment by trying to deny him legal counsel. She helped build Wal-Mart in the 80's to the monster it is today, she and Bill passed the WTO, NAFTA, and various other nefarious Illuminati projects. It's so blatantly obvious, but only now are democrats realizing that she's a DINO, Democrat in Name Only.

15. Unaffilated getting ballot that does NOT have presidential candidate:
In some counties or polling places, it appears that the poll workers are
not offering unaffiliated voters their choices of a Dem or GOP ballot (which they may vote).

I saw this on a Greensboro NC newspaper website in a forum today. (I reported it to 1-866-OUR-VOTE :

Holden said:

I took some members of my Mom's Sunday School class to their polling place in southern Alamance County (Eli Whitney Recreational Center) - some problems or confusion there concerning two older black women who appeared to be voting for the first time. They claimed they had registered as "unaffiliated" but apparently were given ballots for "independents" which did not allow them to vote for Obama. When they complained, they were told nothing could be done since they had already voted. These two women appeared confused and disappointed.

19. Isn't there some rule about 'spoiled' ballots?
If you make a mistake and spoil your ballot, you have the right to a new ballot.

Poll workers are sometimes quite ignorant. I Had one ask for my registration card once. I told her no, and she wasn't allowed to ask me that. Thing is, I am an educated and aggressive voter. People voting for the first time are much more vulnerable to that kind of bossiness.
