41. he makes grandpa mccain look youthful
i've seen him in person, over a year ago and he was shuffling and needed assistance. at this point, teddy is a very old, stooped man.

i'm torn on my opinion of teddy, but from a personally political viewpoint, he's just about the worst choice :D

26. when we start comparing ourselves to republicans in any form or fashion,
we need to rethink things.

ted kennedy could shoot his mother while having sex with a cow and still not be as bad as the majority of republicans. still, i don't think that means he'd be a good vice president.

5. not going to happen for many reasons
Apart from the fact that he does have a lot of "baggage" (like it or not), he'll turn 77 a month after inauguration day and would be 81 by the time a first term ended. They aren't going to pick someone who won't be a viable candidate for a second term.

11. I think Ted Kennedy brings next to nothing to the ticket, but has a lot of baggage.
I think his time has past and he has found his best place in the U.S. Senate, being the best senator he can be.

12. Short answer - Two senators on the ticket is suicide.
Longer answer - we all know why another Kennedy will never be allowed within a heartbeat of the White House. At least not until the entire Bush Crime Family is dead or in prison, and their crimes are completely exposed. And I'm not even going into..... you know what.

Edited on Tue May-06-08 03:00 PM by Seabiscuit
Or sick Chappaquiddic jokes, such as: Mary Jo: "Oh, Ted. I love you. Will you marry me?" Ted: "We'll cross that bridge when we come to it."

34. insurance
Regardless of who wins the nomination (Clinton or Obama), I hope to God that they choose for
Vice-President the farthest-left-wing-way-out-there politico they can find, simply as
insurance against impeachment or assasination. "You don't like me? You'll LOVE President
Kucinich." Or President (Angela) Davis. You get my drift.
