and that's it. I'm done.

CNN is now my place for politics.

Too bad too, I really really liked Countdown.

It bothers me a lot more when leaders of my own party adopt freeper talking points. Maybe the era of the Clintons compromising and destroying the Democratic Party for their own short term benefit is finally over.

18. I think she's run a hell of a campaign. and she's still running.
I gave up on the Presidential politics a few months ago when Edwards dropped out. I'm spending all my time and $$$ on the Congressional primary coming up here in less than 1000 hours.

I'll vote a straight Dem ticket no matter who wins the nomination, but Clinton has half the Dems and Obama has half the dems.

I don't need a pundit minimizing her amazing accomplishments to date. Or Obama's either.

If CNN is as biased toward Clinton as KO is toward Obama, I'll stop watching the news at all until it decided.

90. I don't support someone because they are a woman or man or
anything else. I want a set of issues that I support carried to the white house by a person. I will vote for a woman in the election when someone whom I can be proud of, respect and support without throwing up in my mouth. She is everything in a politician that I dislike and she will never have my respect or my vote. We can't just vote for someone because they are female. Vote for a female when they earn it.

she has a lot of votes she got before she exposed herself to america
i think that voters given the choice again would not support her with that high of a percentage
its called buyers remorse
shes the new poster girl
most of these contests have been strictly obama/clinton races
my belief is that you could replace the name clinton in that equation and possibly have a higher number
without regard to what name it was you used
obamas number however is solid

88. She hadn't been viable since February and if the press would be as
honest as Keith, then it would have been over by now. If she wasn't a clinton, she would have been kicked to the curb months ago. Slate has an article about how everyone in the press needs to pull their heads out and call and end to the fairy tale and the group delusion that she has been viable. Go, Keith.

20. You are SO sensitive, no wonder why you never bothered to exercise
your brain.

It's HARD WORK to listen in context, to learn history, to study logic, math, and political science.

You would do well to study hard in the next four years before declaring yourself in support of fools like Hillary Clinton, who blow off the golden opportunity of a lifetime, international name recognition, lots of funds, lots of contacts, lots of support. To BLOW THAT OFF in less than SIX MONTHS.............and become the underdog.....

She really had to do pretty poorly to go from "inevitable" to "underdog".

Let's hope you learn a lesson here.

54. I won't post what I thought when I read your statements, due to DU rules
first of all, where did I say I support Clinton?

and it's not unusual for the "inevitable" early name recog candidate to fall (Howard Dean ring a bell?)

as for being sensitive, where do you get off? there is absolutely nothing wrong with my brain or my analytical skills. and I am no stranger to hard work, physical AND mental. I hold an office in my local party, spend an average of 20 hours a week working for Democratic candidates and have earned my right to my opinions by talking to and working with the Party activists where the rubber meets the road.

Your lack of respect and poor reading skills are obvious.

oh, and BTW, welcome to DU.

Ok so I've seen some people here at DU overuse the racist thing, but don't you think you're reaching to call him a sexist just because he's one of the only journalists to tell the truth? Obama is the nominee... sorry. And Clinton fought dirty... sorry

77. show me where I said I support Hillary
I don't give a crap who wins at this point, I'm sick of both of them. I'll vote for whatever name is at the top of the ticket.

but I don't appreciate her being so flagrantly and easily dismissed when she still has very wide support in the Party. It's bad enough we eat our own, we don't need a 'so called' news organization to help fill the pot.

I've stated several times on this thread that if CNN is as blatantly biased in the other direction, I'll just have to wait for the results from Amy Goodman then next morning.

I mean, come on. KO is not an anchor. He is a commentator and an opinionated one at that.

117. I've been watching CNN all night. Much better graphics and experts than MSNBC.
Edited on Tue May-06-08 11:24 PM by McCamy Taylor
When the Lake County story started they pulled up a Google map and started showing the geography so we could see what type of housing they have, get an idea of the demographics. They have been interviewing mayors of small cities to get an idea of the vote totals that were sent to the county hours ago. We know that a bunch of this vote has no paper trail so we will never be able to audit it. CNN rocks! And my mom is right. Anderson Cooper is cuuuute! I have never watched him before, even though I did a graphic for my mom at my art site.

Do you think that KO would be adequately punished for his sexist behavior if I wrote slash fiction of the Anderson Cooper/KO variety and posted it on the Internet? Or has that already been done? I could do art, too.
