Question for Hillary supporters about VP choice ...

No need to flame me fellow Obama supporters, this question is just for the Hillary supporters. Hillary is not close to my first choice, but the main thing is beating McCain.

3. I'd vote for him anyway, just to help beat McCain.

But I would feel he'd failed the first crucial test of his candidacy after the primaries, and I'd lose much of the respect I have for him now. (I don't think he's a bad candidate -- I just don't think he's as likely to win the GE as Hillary.)

I also think he'd hurt the party by making a loss to McCain that much more likely, if he doesn't add Hillary to the ticket.

The Dems are too evenly divided. Obama needs to extend that olive branch to prove he can bring them together.

And I'd feel exactly the same way if Hillary were the nominee -- I'd feel it was important for her to ask Obama to be the VP.
