Do you think the Obama campaign is correct to call Rush Limbaugh out?
part of me thinks we should just leave the drug-addled heap of shit in the sewer where he belongs and not give him any credibility whatsoever.

On the other hand, perhaps it's a good strategy to make him think that he and his delusional bunch of brain-damaged groupies can actually make a difference. It would give them quite an unpleasant shock in November, wouldn't it?

1. NO! Calling him out gives him credibility, and makes him seem more
important than he is. It's probably what Rush wants.

3. It's long been my policy to call out assholes in public.
It gives me pleasure and lets others see them for what they are.

8. Oh, he LOVES being called out by Dems! He sees that he rattles them and reinforces his "power"
over repub voters.

The fact of the matter is that we DON'T know why repubs voted for Hillary in Indiana. It is a big waste of our time even to think about it.

And with this post, I'm done discussing it...

Eyes on the prize, DUers!

10. Before the Kerry swiftboating fiasco, I would have said "ignore the bully"
Now I say hit him harder than he hits you.

And I'm a pacifist! But I hate these assholes and the only way to deal with them is to fight back three times harder.

12. Somebody pulls a knife, you pull a gun. Someone sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one
of there's to the morgue. That's the Chicago way. And that's how you get the Pig Man. :)

Stealing from Sean Connery there... :D

13. Ignoring him is the best policy
Anyone with an ego that big cannot stand to be ignored. It drives them crazy and in the process marginalizes them by being viewed as on the fringes.

Obama campaign made a mistake by bring it up. Clinton's victory in Indiana was so slim that it might have well be a defeat. Obama will still get the nomination, but it will just take a little longer. By bring Limbaugh up as a factor in the election, it gives some legitimacy to his claims and gives him the attention he so desperately craves.

17. silence is 'tacit approval'-
calling him out is appropriate, and important.

That said, denouncing his 'chaos' campaign, and not adding all the other (well earned) outrage for his hatefilled perspectives into the same statement, would be best.

IMO
peace~

18. I wish no one would even mention his name.
I have seen the networks discussing Limpballs and his little strategy and it pisses me off. His minions did not make a difference in the voting. So he got a few people to do it. Who cares. He is not that powerful and talking about him at all makes him seem like more than he is. He may have a lot of listeners, but I also heard that the average time they listen to him is only a few minutes. He is only important and powerful in his own mind and Obama should not even say his name. It will give him a legitimacy that he does not deserve.
