She can afford to stay in for WV because it doesn't take flying. Short drive from DC.

When it gets to KY and Oregon....she's going to have some problems.

Forget the TV advertising...she's going to have trouble affording Jet Fuel. The press pays for part of it for seats on the plane...but something tells me she'll have less reporters on her jet now.

9. At some point
She can no longer loan herself any more money. She only has access to half the money.

They made 109 million...doesn't mean they have 109 million. They probably have about 20-30 million in liquid assets and she's hit a third of that already.

5. Let's hope Obama plays it smart
and doesn't RETIRE that debt for Hillary with his own campaign funds.

Look, she can't even manage her own expenses, how the "F" would she manage the country??

17. There has to be a reason that Billary would go overboard like that-
Edited on Thu May-08-08 10:31 AM by kenny blankenship
Like control of Clinton Administration papers. Bush bottled up the release of Presidential papers going back to Reagan. That shielded possible wrongdoing in the Clinton Administration too. Any normal campaign would have seen the hopelessness of carrying on as debt began to mount to 5 M, then 10 M, and beyond while their opponent was easily raising tens of millions from a huge base of donors. The next Democratic President would be highly likely to reverse Bush's illegal secrecy - unless his or her own heiney was being covered by the veil of Executive privilege because they had already been in the White House. Obama or whoever didn't have any investment in Bushler's Royal Secrecy Act and could be expected to throw open all the files on general principles, and that made him a threat to the Clintons, not just an opponent. The Clintons may have been blinded by a need to regain control of the Presidency and over their own paper trails, and were consequently persistent beyond reason well after other campaigns would have folded and after it was clear they could not succeed. It will probably be a long time before we find out exactly why though.

16. The Key Word Here Is "Loaned"

She repeats that the fact she has loaned over $10 million to her campaign shows her commitment... But Mitt Romney *gave* millions to his campaign. I think he has a bit more cash on hand but still, I don't expect that amount to have Bill sitting in public parks, trying to lure pigeons into Shake N Bake bags.

Of course, payments on those loans will start coming due soon. If Hillary doesn't at least start getting payments on the vig, look for someone in the campaign to show up with broken thumbs. If you're going to play the field, you have to be able to make the nut. As Bubba always says, "You have to make sure the juice is worth the squeeze."

19. Time for her to go into a retreat to write another book.
For her to continue in this and amass great debt in a losing situation and then expect the public or the party to bail her out is ludicrous. Running is her choice.

20. GS is such a tool, he must have received her permission
to put that out there.

He lives in her back pocket.

Did he really say that Obama should pay back her loan?

That would mean that every time a candidate doesn't manage their own budget the winning candidate must pay for them to get out of debt.

That is a Crime Family technique and the DNC and Obama should not be held hostage.
