Thank Hillary. She has given us the opportunity to weed out the Racist Dirtbag Wing of our Party
Who knows how long they might have waited in the shadows pretending to support Equality only to work against it in secret?

If they cannot vote for our Nominee just because he is a Black man,
then they have no business in this Democratic Party.

Hillary is giving us the chance to, once and for all, break with the prejudiced past of this country and truly move into a new era.

Thanks, Lil' Hilly, it took a Passive-Aggressive racist like you to draw this issue out into the open.

Now, working together, our Party can cast this pestilence aside and make some actual progress.

1. Spoken Like A True Paragon Of All That Is Righteous
And if that kind of thought represents the "best" in the Party, God help us anyway.

3. Yeah, we actually have a lot to thank hilary for...
not the least is hiring the incompetent mark penn and his ignorance on California Delegates.

"As aides looked over the campaign calendar, chief strategist Mark Penn confidently predicted that an early win in California would put over the top because she would pick up all the state's 370 delegates. It sounded smart, but as every high school civics student now knows, Penn was wrong: Democrats, unlike the Republicans, apportion their delegates according to vote totals, rather than allowing any state to award them winner-take-all. Sitting nearby, veteran Democratic insider Harold M. Ickes, who had helped write those rules, was horrified -- and let Penn know it. "How can it possibly be," Ickes asked, "that the much vaunted chief strategist doesn't understand proportional allocation?" And yet the strategy remained the same, with the campaign making its bet on big-state victories."

4. Hell yeah, time to purge the racist trash from this party.
I don't want their votes. We don't need their votes.

If you can't vote for Barack Obama because he's black, then fuck off and die in a fire! You'll get nothing from me but scorn and contempt.

7. OK
#1 - I do not think every supporter of HRC is a bigot or racist.

#2 - The odds are that someone who wouldn't vote for BHO because he's black, probably would have trouble voting for HRC because she's a woman.

#3 - I do not think HRC is, in and of herself, racist. I do think she's playing with fire, though.

That said: This primary is doing just as you suggested, finishing what LBJ started, encouraging the remaining racists in our party to go and feel more at home in the GOP.

9. I'm going to have to disagree with #2
I believe that a lot of older white people that can't stomach a vote for a biracial candidate (I guess we round 50% up to black, which is fine I suppose) are much more willing to vote for a woman. Looking at the demographics, this appears to be true in the 60+ category. It makes sense. Some of them may be a product of their times to a certain degree. I do not decry that generation for that, but the voting trends in that group have lead me to that conclusion.

My two cents.

15. Logical fallacies
To wit:
{snark}

#1 - I do not think every supporter of BHO is a bigot or misogynist.

#2 - The odds are that someone who wouldn't vote for HRC because she's a woman, probably would have trouble voting for BHO because she's a black.

#3 - I do not think BHO is, in and of himself, misoynistic. I do think he's playing with fire, though.

That said: This primary is doing just as you suggested, finishing what LBJ started, encouraging the remaining misoynists in our party to go and feel more at home in the GOP.

Though the fact that she was willing to use racism despite personally knowing that it is bullshit does not reflect well on her.

16. Thus the beauty of a public message board
Everyone gets a chance to say what they want. And if you don't like it, you don't have to read it. That's what ignore and hide thread is for.

If I am reading the posts of someone I know I will find annoying, that's my fault. With hide thread and ignore features, it's always our own fault if we're reading something here we don't like. As a progressive, I LIBERALLY use those features!!

Liberal, liberal, liberal, liberal. Yeah, I'm one, but I have limited time, so while I believe all are entitled to speak, all aren't entitled to have me read their comments!! Freedom of choice.
