Clinton Camp Chides NBC
It's no secret that Hillary Clinton's top aides have long been angry at MSNBC for coverage they consider blatantly pro-Obama.

But the final straw seems to have come Tuesday night, when Tim Russert, NBC's Washington bureau chief, declared on MSNBC: "We now know who the Democratic nominee is going to be, and no one is going to dispute it." Other MSNBC pundits agreed, and Russert repeated the verdict yesterday, saying that barring a collapse by Barack Obama or an act of God, "this race is over."

In an e-mail yesterday, Jay Carson, Clinton's press secretary, told NBC's political director Chuck Todd: "Can you think of one good reason we should continue to cart you guys around the country with us, given that your network has declared the entire race over?"

Can you think of one good reason we should continue to cart you guys around the country with us, given that your network has declared the entire race over?"

You need the coverage? any coverage at this point?

I dont think banning them at this point will help you in anyway. In fact just this story being out there hurts you IMHO. But hey thats why you make the big bucks and I dont I guess.

NBC should have responded with a question of their own:

Can you think of one good reason we should continue to treat Clinton as a viable candidate?

11. The Answer Should Have Been .......
can you think of any reason we should continue to follow her ass around the country.
This way we can then devote our airtime to the GE race between McCain and Obama.

Get a life Hilliary - this is over!!!!!!

16. Whaaaaaaaaaaaa Who's whining again
Her campaign is terrible with or without the press. I think it was a joke that the press, for the longest, time pretended this race was close - when it wasn't. Finally, someone screamed, "THE EMPEROR HAS NO CLOTHES!" Then they get mad.

Edited on Thu May-08-08 04:43 PM by Life Long Dem
at the end when she should be out of this race anyway. If it was Obama that was in her position the media would have hounded for Obama to get out. And you know it. They hounded Edwards during his last days where the only question to him was "when are you going to drop out". Reporters asked him over and over again 24/7 till he dropped out. She has no right to cry over her treatment. She has to be joking.

Take your damn ball Hillary and go home for crying out loud.

I got it. Take down MSM, and break them all up Hillary. I want to call your bluff on this crap.

because they need the coverage. They don't have money to run an effective ad campaign, so they are at the mercy of the press.

24. yeah.. the Clinton's sure don't like to hear pesky things like.. THE TRUTH
NBC didn't give Obama a 15 point win in NC, a 2 point loss in IN, a delegate lead, a popular vote lead and a "won more states" lead. They just happen to be stating the obvious... but in typical fashion, the Clinton team sticks their fingers in their ears and starts screaming so they don't have to hear it.

CLINTON'S: NEWSFLASH.. even if you SEAT FL & MI at this point, you STILL DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH DELEGATES TO WIN. Sorry.. Rev. Wright isn't as big of an issue as you'd hoped.. and it's not going to side track Obama. Better Luck Next Time!

26. Let me see, what if obama is caught on tape again or video and
he says something like, I wish that damn bitch would drop out. You know if hrc had dropped out already and with all this wright and ayers crap then you would have seen the dems fortunes drop below 35%. So, you might be pissed HRC is staying in but what if and I know that is a reach, but then again no one knew obama would become an elitist and belittled the common folk the dems need if he is to have even a chance IF he is the nominee.....

I still say this cocky arrogant ass will do something stupid or say something stupid or the other show will drop.....

because telling the truth is to damning to her campaign right now. The media has to lie/stretch the truth for her.
