Do we want a President who is delusional?
Think about it: While most people would agree that tenacity and endurance are desirable qualities in someone who has to deal with despots and crackpots around the world, who has to marshall diverse forces to enact legislation, who must often prevail over a population unwilling or not yet able to see the greater benefit, do we nevertheless want in the White House someone who continues to believe in things that cannot possibly come to be?

I don't see how carrying on in the face of not just overwhelming odds but REALITY itself can be anything but a deal-breaker.

2. Good point. Lack of flexibility is what we've had for 8 years.
I remember when Goldwater got applause for saying "Extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice."

Oh, wait... someone else was clapping for that line, as well.

5. EX Hillary supporter.
I have said from the beginning I would support who ever the nominee may be. After tuesday I conceeded and now support Obama. A little less gloating on DU would be helpful to all. Obama will not win without a united party.
