what does Hillary want?
This was a question posed on Road to the White House, and I think a good one. So Obama and Hillary supporters alike, what does she want?

1. To be President.
Anything short of that she says Fuck you.

2. Yep
The Highest Office in the Land and all the power to go with it.

To be the 1st female president of the United States. Too bad for her she screwed it up - but a blessing for America.

5. ok, should have worded the question differently: now that she knows she's lost, what does she want?

8. To not have lost
obviously.

I think its just like the primary - she had no game plan and no thought after February 5. She still doesn't. I don't think she ever considered NOT wining. Even now.

Perhaps it would be wise for her to take a break from the campaign trail (now that its over) and get herself a vision of the future she would like for herself and for our country.

If she loves America THAT much - surely there are a vast number of ways in which she can contribute and work to help our country get back on its feet. If she really does a good job of that - maybe we'll consider her again in 2012. If not, then it was all about the power and prestige.

3. It's all about 2012 for her... and to make that possible, she needs to destroy Obama....
...so she's trying.

14. If that is the case, she'll be even more hated in 2012 than she is now.

4. She wants to win
She wants to protect her (corporate cronies) interests, most of which have nothing to do with the people of the US.

7. She's unelectable, she's already ruined any chances now or in 2012.

11. Yes, Hillary wants to be president, but her ultimate goal
Edited on Thu May-08-08 06:13 PM by Mme. Defarge
is really to be the nominee. This is all her corporate paymasters expect of her. This is about stacking the deck with two candidates who will not upset the status quo. She must get the nomination; once that is accomplished she has done her job.

And it cannot be a coincidence that Mark Penn and McCain's campaign manager both have ties to the same electronic voting machine company.

Edited to correct spelling.

12. Hillary wants to build up as much credibility as possible for 2012..
If Obama were to lose to McCain. There would be buyer's remorse and she would be the 1st choice in 2012.
Perhaps? :-)
