My Prediction: Hillary will suspend her campaign on Tuesday, May 20th.
Edited on Fri May-09-08 08:29 PM by Labors of Hercules
She is showing a good fight to justify her wins in WV and KY so they do not damage Obama's campaign, but once these are over and Barack has won Oregon and the majority of pledged and superdelegates, I think she will bow out with great statewomanship and fully endorse him as the Democratic nominee.

While I don't agree with her campaign tactics, I do believe that Hillary is a true Progressive Democrat who does not want to see her party defeated in November.

2. Nope
She'll point to some ridiculous statistic like she won people in some minor congressional district and it will be onward to the White House again.

21. I didn't fall for anything.
Hillary Clinton is as much of a progressive Democrat as George W. Bush.

True progressive Democrats are people like Dennis Kucinich and Paul Wellstone. There is no way Hillary fits in the same category as those two.

17. wright is NOT "a few examples..."
Edited on Fri May-09-08 10:57 PM by beezlebum
that is bullshit, and to hell w/ ANY democrat for continuing to allow that obfuscation. delusional for damned sure.

and that's not "a few examples." that is one VERY WEAK and OVERUSED EXCUSE- why don't you just come right out and say b/c he is black?

yeah, i am sure it's going to come up again, but obviously, it's the ONLY thing anyone can seem to come up with, and, hm, let's see, would we rather A) 100 more years, B) obliteration, or C) "controversial" former pastor?? gee, i'm kinda thinking there's just a tad bit of "war fatigue" going around, so i'm thinking C is the least of a threat.

let me say this again: people might be confused about wright, but they damned sure know that NAFTA has ruined lives- yeah, even those white ppl who supposedly won't vote for barack b/c he's black and had a preacher, even THEY know that, and even they have children they do not want to send off to war, so they damned sure know that more war is not an option they want- somehow i'm thinking, once again, that preacher dude is nothing in terms of weight.

for the last blasted time- if the worst thing barack obama did was go to a church with a provocative, truth-to-power preacher, then i am behind him 100%.

Let's add manipulated caucuses and open elections, rookie lack of experience and good judgment and specially the inability to win the BIG STATES.

14. I think she'll have to, unless she lends herself more money
Edited on Fri May-09-08 08:42 PM by rocknation
I predicted that she'd lose her delegate lead by the end of the week. Now I'll predict that Obama will call out enough superdelegates to clinch the delegate lead before the WV primary on Tuesday.

And I hope you're not buying this crap about Obama paying off Hillary's debts with our campaign donations--it wouldn't be legal, and its real purpose is to get us to stop sending him money.
