I know there are soooo many threads about Obama & Clinton but I just
have to get this off my chest. I am a Democratic. I will vote for the Democratic candidate in the General Election. I'm concerned about Health Care, Stem Cell Research, Supreme Court Nominees, pro-choice, and many other issues. I'm voting for the Democratic Platform. Period. I am an Obama supporter big time but Hillary is extremely smart, agrees with most of my views, was crucified by the media, and basically has been through what none of us will ever go through. And still she survives. Yes, she's run a crappy campaign. That doesn't mean she'll govern in the same manner. I think she'd be a good President. Many on DU are "outraged" at her tactics during the campaign but think about it. The Clintons have been treated horribly for years. I think if I'd gone through what they've been through, I'd end up being pretty much of a fighter too. Remember, the is DEMOCRATIC UNDERGROUND.

1. I too..
..will support the Democratic Nominee.

To do otherwise will destroy America further.

2. It would be more convincing if you didn't say "I am a Democratic."....
It also doesn't help the advocate the I'd-be-a-race-baiter-too-if-I-was-treated-badly line.

But first things first.

4. Um she isn't a "fighter"
Edited on Fri May-09-08 11:50 PM by tularetom
Remember the Iraq war resolution? Despite what she now says, she knew that resolution was bullshit but she voted for it anyway because she was afraid of being called "soft" on terror.

And that's just one example where she voted against her own principles rather than show some courage.

She's a timid scared poll watcher. And she lacks the spine to strand up for what's right in the face of media criticism.

And as far as "what they've been through", they brought most of it on themselves.

If she somehow pulled this nomination out of her ass, I'd vote for her. But I sure as hell wouldn't be happy about it.

5. I agree with your concerns and Hillary's qualities...for that reason
I think she would make a tremendous Senate Majority Leader.

7. No worries about spelling...I don't entirely trust the spell check either...
...in the center of Downtown Orlando is Lake Eola...spellcheck insists I call it Lake Ebola. Off topic, I know. B-)

8. Spellcheck is really hard to trust and I don't have the capacity to use it
when I post at DU anyway. As a mater of fak, I'v seen funee ritings ware the wordz are all spelled rong and its just as eze to rede. I agree that Hillary would be an excellent Senate Majority leader. I sincerly hope Obama is nominee.
