When McCain "won" the GOP primary, many on the right said they would never vote for him
some even said they would vote/work for Hillary or Obama.

That lasted about 3 days. The first time McCain was "attacked" by some democrat every right leaning loon in the country came out to defend him.

Why don't you think that will happen here? It might take longer than 3 days but it will happen.

Do you really think Hillary supporters will stand by while McCain and his attack dogs say, in effect, Obama will raise your taxes to give your money to shiftless, lazy ppl who don't want to work but want you to support them and he'll give our country to the Muslims and terrorists (the argument here is America has become too tolerant and it will destroy us) and he wants to force you to have an abortion and he was/is a Weatherman terrorist who hates America and hates the flag.

A week of that and I think Hillary's ppl (who are really "my" ppl too even though we supported different candidates these last few months) will join us.

1. huckabee never attacked mccain the way hillary attacked obama
and its been almost 3 months since huckster overstayed his welcome

if hillary stays in this race, things are only going to get worse, divisions deeper, etc.

many will come back to the fold, but many won't. and in the meantime one of our own is spending millions of dollars to try to destroy our candidate. i feel like i'm taking crazy pills.

2. Don't be fooled, McCain's base is not behind him
Ron Paul supporters will NOT be voting for him in the fall. They might even side with Obama since Paul has endorsed Obama's foreign policy. McCain will be busy flip-flopping all throughout the fall trying to please everybody at the same time.

3. It will take longer for us.
We don't have the unanimity imparted by their worship of money, military power and corruption. Compared to Republicans, unifying us really is like herding cats. This year, though, we'll be aided by the demonstrable failure of every goddamned plank of the GOP platform, plus their soporific nominee's strong resemblance to a big pile of fail.

If McCain is still awake in November, he's going to find himself demonized as the symbol of the Republican Party's collapse--and worse, as a touchstone whereby the thigh-rubbers start to think nostalgically of * again. McCain is going to live to see * revered as the new Reagan, and will know that he helped it to happen. He's going to be the Jimmy Carter of his party, minus the integrity and humanity.

4. Coulter for Clinton
I remember her babbling about that on Faux news. I don't know if she has changed her mind back to McCain yet since she is such a loon.
