It's funny and sad at the same time to see some Hillary supporters and Hillary herself still acting as if they can "turn the tide." There aren't enough pledged delegates nor states left to turn the tide. Obama surpassed Hillary in SDs. It's over, folks. Obama's starting his GE strategy. So are the Repubs.-with Hillary's help. Stop embarrassing yourselves!

1. WV has 29 delegates. She could get 80% and it wouldn't matter.

3. I heard that!
I wish Hillary would see the writing on the wall and work FOR Obama instead of AGAINST him.

9. It depends....
If she gets florida and Michigan seated, that's going to give her almost 100 delegates, and that's not including the supers. The rules and bylaws committe is tanked into her favor, and given the nature of this campaign, the logic in overturning a decision that was made less than a year ago, won't necessarily stop then if hillary threatens/pressures them. We can still override it at the convention, but I'd want to lessen the possibility of even getting to that point. She might do it regardless, but the less support and supporters she has for doing that, the more obama can bolster his coalition, before it gets VERY late. IMO the best scenario (but not essential for winning the nomination) is to win the popular vote and the pledged delegates, so there can be virtually no debate.

10. "If she gets florida and Michigan seated..." Doesn't matter.
Current pledged delegates: Obama 1591, Hillary 1426

If he gets MI 55, the delegate split for the FL and MI is Hillary 178, Obama 122.

The totals become Obama 1713 Hillary 1604

If Hillary gets 70% of the vote in WV, KY and PR, and Obama wins by a margin of 4 pts in SD, MT and OR, Hillary gains 135, Obama 82.

The totals become Obama 1795, Hillary 1739

Other scenarios (these include current superdelegates):

FL gets 1/2 vote, no MI
Obama 1899, Hillary 1757.5

Florida 1/2 vote and MI split 59/69
Obama 1959, Hillary 1833.5

___________________

FL gets 1/2 vote, no MI, plus the remaining states from above:
Obama 1981, Hillary 1892.5

Florida 1/2 vote and MI split 59/69, plus the remaining states from above:
Obama 2041, Hillary 1968.8

Hillary can't win.
