Thinking of voting for McCain? McCain's flip-flop on abortion (Roe v. Wade)
From: http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Vote2008/story?id=4824779&page=1 (includes videolink in story, but hard to link it to post)

To paraphrase this article, it calls out McCain for lamblasting George Bush in a 2000 debate for not wanting to include a rape/incest/health exception for abortion. Now, it looks like McCain will be forced to abandon those same exceptions in an effort to appease his base. He has also stated that he will appoint pro-life judges to the Supreme Court. This is important since one justice will be 88 years old when the next President takes office and a couple others are in their 70s.

The more McCain talks about abortion, the more voters he will lose in the fall. His conservative base won't accept his abortion stance, so he will be forced to pander to their demands. Let's get the word out about his position on abortion.

2. I want people making an informed decision
when they say that they will vote for McCain. This also illustrates a great policy issue to discuss with Hillary supporters who are on the fence about supporting the Dem ticket this fall. Sorry for supporting the Democrats. :eyes:

4. It's a response to
the Hillary supporters on here who say they will vote for McCain in the fall. Sorry if that point wasn't made a little bit clearer. Just point them to the videolink in the article in the original message.
