Obama and his supporters are not Elitist - they are Realists!

Politicians continuously pander. "I will solve your mortgage issue," I will make sure they don't take your guns," I will reverse Roe v Wade," I will fervently uphold Roe v Wade," I will suspend federal gas tax for the summer," on and on. Then they run the country like a corporation, pushing to make the quarterly numbers and to hell with long range planning and vision. Then the public and the workers end up getting screwed and a new set of leaders come in. In my opinion Obama is the only one left not doing this. He has never said he will fix things. In fact he admits he will make mistakes. But I believe he will always keep focused on long term solutions not short term pandering.
