2. Hillary supporters.
Big Tent Democrat: VoteBoth (Talk Left)
I support this idea:

On Tuesday a bunch of Hillaryites launched "Voteboth.com" to push the idea of a "Dream Ticket" of both Clinton and Obama … again. "We figure why have a nominee who has won 51.1 percent of the vote when you can have a ticket of both of them who have won 100 percent of the Democratic vote?" Voteboth.com spokesman Sam Arora said.

5. It can't be allowed to happen.
Hillary on the ticket goes against everything Obama is about. They'll attack him just for running with her. Not to mention her abhorrent attacks on Obama. She's too divisive, she needs to go.

7. Looks like something Penn or Ickes would pull at this late date.
Maybe there IS something to the stories that she is desperate for the VP slot.

I don't want to see her on the ticket. It would be poisonous for the Hope/Change theme.

13. If either are guilty of race baiting then they both have to be guilty
I see it as noisy supporters and the media making claims of race baiting where it does not exist.

I would hope you are not claiming the Clintons are guilty of this fabricated crime.

14. Of course - It's a long-time Hillary campaign operative. Here's links.
Good grief. It's a long-time Hillary campaign operative.

Hillary/Obama '08 becomes official today. In a way.

A Clinton insider who served as ex campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle's executive assistant for several years has set up a new website, http://www.voteboth.com/ and plans to register with the Federal Election Commission today.

VoteBoth urges Democrats to support a joint Clinton-Obama ticket.

Its creator, Adam Parkhomenko, resigned from the campaign three weeks ago.

He had been one of the first employees of the 2006 incarnation of Clinton's political action committee, HillPAC, and his proximity to the powers of the campaign will raise the question of whether the effort is sanctioned by the campaign. (Parkhomenko says that the idea was his own) . . .http://marcambinder.theatlantic.com/archives/2008/04/exclinton_insider_launches_uni_1.php

YEAH RIGHT

"I don't support his candidate (Hillary Clinton), but I consider Adam Parkhomenko a good friend. So, I wanted to say "congratulations" to Adam for being placed in charge of political outreach for the Virginia Clinton campaign. What's amazing is that, at 22 years old, Adam has now spent 5 1/2 years fighting to make Hillary Clinton president. That's 1/4 of his life, and you've got to admire that dedication! :)" http://www.raisingkaine.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=12605

An open letter to Peter Feddo
Peter:

I spoke with Ben Tribbett this evening, and I have to say that it was an eye-opening experience, to say the very least. It was clear to me that Ben was just enjoying one of his little jokes.

I realize now that you and Ben are just acting out of hurt feelings because of Hillary Clinton's impending loss in Virginia (and elsewhere). I realize that I've been insensitive to what you two have been going through, emotionally speaking. I mean, good grief, I watched the JJ dinner on the internet. Were you there? That must have been really hard for you, and I sympathize.

While I am still disappointed that you chose to act the way you did, I no longer see any point in making an issue of this. I mean good grief Peter, you've devoted the last two years of your life to Hillary Clinton's cause in Virginia, and I got in your way. Now it appears that Senator Clinton☼ is going to do rather poorly in Virginia. Two years of your life gone for nothing. No wonder you lashed out.

But Ben has convinced me that you're just some kid that isn't really responsible for his actions and that by going after you I've really just been a bit of a bully. As a lawyer, I sometimes get too caught up in issues of the law and what is right and wrong. I am sorry I wasn't more sensitive to your loss.

So rest assured, all is forgiven. I just hope that you are okay and you don't let this setback get you down. You are a young man and there will be plenty of other opportunities in the future.

Sincerely,

--J.C. Wilmore

Just who is this thing called Peter Feddo....

Guest column by NOT Gretchen Bulova

A few weeks back I read some reports about a young Virginian forming a Hillary Clinton for President Committee. For whatever reason, this topic interested me, so I did a little digging into Mr. Feddo's past. As a Democrat who does not support Hillary Clinton for President, he seems like the perfect guy to run this organization.

3 years in a row, he lost elections for an office within the Virginia Young Democrats. If you can't win office in an organization like that, why would someone want you running this type of organization? 50 drunk people in a convention hall did not even think Peter could lead them.

Apparently this same person was the one who developed the controversial "Weather Strategy for Democrats on Election Day". Showing heaving storms in the SW and southside to decrease turnout and sunny skies in NOVA and Richmond City. That's exactly what Democrats don't need, a person who hopes rural voters don't vote because they think it is there only chance to win.

At first I felt bad for Hillary Clinton, since I'm sure she had nothing to do with the formation of this group and her campaign probably is not to happy about it's existence, but after thinking about it, I realized something....I should be happy that all this happened! Why? Because if Hillary has these types of people running her campaign, she is destined to lose and actually give Democrats a fighting chance in 2008.

I can now imagine Governor Warner sitting back in a chair, drinking bourbon and toasting Peter Feddo for making his life just that much easier!
