Politico: Why the Obama/Clinton Ticket is Nuts
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0508/10242.html">Politico.com

1. Obama is too Cool
2. Clinton is too Proud
3. The Would Lose
4. They Would Win
5. Too Much Rainbow

These are the 5 reasons Politico says Obama/Clinton will not happen. Just like I thought, point 5 brings up the coming "too much change" meme. And again, they throw out the name of General Anthony Zinni who was a Bush appointee and someone no one knows a damn thing about...they just know he's a General.

4. I think they mean on the one hand it could cost them the election on the
other hand if they won it would cause a problem with too many competing egos in the Administration.

6. Makes sense.
Most tickets have a lower profile VP. And not many nominations go on this long, for either party.

2. Heh - if Clinton supporters are oh-so concerned about losing white men....
Then they should advocate for putting a white man in as VP.

5. Too much rainbow is another way of saying "too much change"
The implication being that having a Black man leading a Presidential ticket is enough...having a woman as VP nominee would be too much change for the closet bigots of this country.
