I have donated twice in 3 days here to DU to two very brave DU'ers

who did not have a star before, and they are now proud and full-fledged members of DU.

Every time I see a DU'er successfully repel an Clintonite attack, it just makes me proud to donate to someone worthy of being a DU'er.

One of them is a Canadian.

8. The two DU'ers are not sockpuppets - they're actually good people

and I've seen them at work, and in my heart they are worthy of my contributions.

And since I've got a thread getting thanks, I might as well reveal who the two worthy DU'ers are:

Since we got another drive, I'll be doing a lot of "passing it forward" donations because the last person donated for me.

I'd like to add that I've followed your example and ask that others do the same. You don't have to donate for someone you agree with, but perhaps you could donate on behalf of someone who has made you think. :)
