Off-topic, forgive, ear medicine...
You can put on Geraldo on FOX and get aggravated, or

give your head and ears a treat and put on TCM, CH 27 (the old movie channel) and listen to Frank Sinatra for an hour....

1. Some people assume all Americans have the same channel line-up!
I guess that tells us a lot about reality in America.

Everything is equal.....all TV's work the same.

NO?

3. Which time zone?
Where are you located?

time zones make a difference, location is important, as is cable provider.

Watching 30-60 year old movies is not exactly "time critical"........ you could be in Hawaii watching this at 3 PM, and I am in Puerto Rico watching something at 9:30 PM.

Some of us think we all live in the same time zone, same cable provider, same state !

It's on Wed. too..... It's not a movie, it's a repeat of his old TV program back in 1965 or so....

5. Excellent...

From before his voice blew out. Though I prefer Mel Torme.

Stayu tuned because next is Jimmy Durante, Kathyrn Grayson, and Frank Sinatra.

6. If some of you can't find it, look up the web site....
TCM.com

If it ain't Sinatra, it ain't singing...Torme's okay, he wrote too..forgot which songs...but I remember they were good.

I'm po'd at him for dying....he had no business leaving me....

7. Heathen..... Torme is better than Sinatra ;)
Edited on Sun May-11-08 08:32 PM by whistler162
Torme wrote a minor little song in the middle of a hot July with Bob Wells that is long forgotten.

Something called "The Christmas Song", you know chestnuts roasting on an open fire and all that.

Now if you want to see Sinatra and Torme together at the start, rent the movie "Higher and Higher" a B movie but some good songs.

Yeah.... I am a slight fan of Mel Torme.

9. Am watching it...
I like him so much I can't stand it...had to forego my advil and got a glass of wine instead :) :)

He does things to me that an almost 70-year old shouldn't even remember, much less feel......

Good Night....

Oh, his voice didn't go. Ever hear his "If" (a picture paints l000 words), Send in the Clowns, and so many others..

I think I have about 75% of all he ever sang on cd's. Never listen to them because of the damned election...needed a night off from Obama and CLinton.. ;)

Good night
